Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Pups were quite time consuming things. He had known this forever but experiencing it was a whole different thing. There venture to Asteraia had been, interesting to say the least. He wasn’t sure what to do and he worried about the lasting effects it might have on their children witnessing such a grizzly thing. He couldn’t do much more than hope that they were not traumatized by the experience. They seemed alright, there wasn’t much for protesting at the very least when they came home to Spirane. Spring ended a few weeks ago, the sun was higher in the sky, heating the lands up and his heart and soul seemed to be recovering to her full strength. This and with his own children being big enough to leave for a few hours he felt it was time for them to have a day just for each other.

He had always been very demonstrative about his love towards his little light. He knew he was hers they very day they met. It was the bond’s influence to be sure, but he couldn’t deny what fate had put in place for them. They were perfect for one another and certainly completed and fit. It was amazing to have someone in his life that did such a thing and everything about his life was better. He loved all four of his kids with all his heart. They were all so different, and the older they got he could see them growing more and more individual. Bastille was bold and a bit of a trouble maker, Embla was calm and thoughtful, Constantine was curious and personable, then Jax was playful and energetic. There was more to them all, and he loved every part of them. He knew Church was just as happy and probably more so now that she was finally starting to gain her weight back. It was more the reason to go out though give them their time and their growing children space. They couldn’t get into TOO much trouble right?

He lead the way down the mountain and towards the river side. Somewhere to cool off, it was so much warmer off the mountain after all. And perhaps have some fun with Church. They were still young after all, capable of such deeds, plus he had to wonder how she was feeling after Neirin’s death. He hadn’t brought it up, not in front of the kids, he wasn’t sure if she really wanted to talk about it. Ragnarok didn’t know the male at all, he wasn’t sure how he felt about him, he was old and just so different from himself. It was hard to tell now that he was dead and gone, he wondered though how different things would have been if they hadn’t met or if she didn’t leave that golden male for him. Or was allowed to leave… it was confusing the male’s choice but Ragnarok never questioned it.

Arriving at the river the brute paused looking back to see how his golden soul was fairing. His tail waved out behind him lightly as his bright blue eyes found her. ”It is a wonderful day out for a swim, don’t you agree?” He asked giving her a soft smile, his deep rumbling voice going over the babbling of the river. He was happy to be here and with her today, forever and he knew that would never change. This was the first of many days to come of them just enjoying each other.
