A few bolts of lightning flashed though the sky, as he approached. One thing he could never complain about a storm coming is freshness of the air it brings with it. Storms seemed to bring a wave renewal to world, be air or plants; everything seemed to be grateful for storms in one way or another.
The other returned his smile and friendly mannerisms, which he was happy to see. He had always preferred company of the older kind, younger wolves typically seemed to be more hot-blooded and he wasn't one much for conflict. "I’m fine, thank you." Nanuk said returning the gesture in kind.
Nanuk immediately moved to claim the vacated place beside the other, happy to be invited to say and talk. The older male smelled of the pack that had its borders next to his favorite sun bathing spot along the lake. He had been born as loner, and since lived as such; he wouldn't lie it could be a very difficult lifestyle. He took socialization where he could get it, despite being fairly quiet himself. The boy had always rather amicable, sure he has had some bad run-ins with others, but he didn't let that change his overall view on them. He spotted the nod of the other's head when he spoke of the weather.
"True it'd well for both us and the world around us. Personally I see it more as surreal, something so big and powerful and yet we can't touch it." The boy personally didn't mind storms all that much, where he was from they had storms all the time; just not ones that caused him to get cold and wet. He was eyeing the ominous storm cloud, silently wishing it wouldn't dump freezing rain water on them, when the other introduced himself.
"Pleasure to meet you Voltaire, I’m called Nanuk." He said glancing sideways at the dark older male.
