It is not often that I am inclined to having any length of time to myself, especially with pups and the pack to take care of, but as I wait for my scholars to arrive, I find myself utterly alone. It is a feeling I am distantly familiar with, something that makes me seek out others. I do not like being alone so very much, but in busy times like this, I enjoy a bit of time to collect myself. I needed medicines for my daughter, Story, but I was reluctant to leave her for any length of time to go and hunt the things I will need. I have seen oranges growing, and while I know nothing of her disease, I will have to treat it as I would any other sickness and hope. It is with this thought that the light form of Ravenna comes streaking in, slowing and relaxing as a smile breaks over my face. "I did indeed, your swift arrival is commendable, and speaks much of your latent skill as a healer. It is necessary for us to be fast." I smile and wait for the familiar form of Scianthian to show, and it didn't take him long either. "Good day, Scia, I appreciate your swift response as well." And now, I had to tell them just why I called them here. I would need something to help Story's immune system during this procedure, something to help her get well. She has been sick for nearly two weeks, and so far, nothing I have done has helped her. It is time for something radical. "I have a request for you two, and it will be challenging. I require a special fruit, called an orange. There is a grove of them just outside the border of Glorall, and the problem with getting them is...they are high in the trees." I smirk, knowing they were going to need a description of the fruit, as well as some teamwork to get it down. "Oranges are large round and orange pieces of fruit. They contain many vitamins necessary for the immune system to work properly and effectively to stave off diseases and any illness, even allergies. My daughter is very sick, and I will need the fruit to help boost her up so she can get to feeling better. You will have to work together for this, I need at least two of them." I sit in the sand, waiting patiently for any questions they may have, or suggestions about how to get the fruit down. It would be wise to have a plan for themselves before going after the fruit, and I would feel better if they got someone to chaperoned them in the loner lands as they searched out the oranges. It would be up to them though, and all I do is advise. It is an odd approach to teaching, but we learn through action and actions of others. |
