Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Khaleesi
i am every dream you lost and never found

She knew that it was unusual for a wolf to say they were used to being alone. To making their own fun. Finding their own way through life. Normally they were pack creatures and longed to be around others. But her mindset was a bit lost in translation. She was a free spirit and enjoyed the freedom of going wherever she wanted, whenever she wanted. It's not that she doesn't want to be around others, but that she feels conflicted when having to conform to order. She knew how to follow directions and follow someone else, or so she liked to think, but she needed to know that freedom was still there. Maybe that was why she remained alone for the past year. Instead of looking for a mate like most young wolves would, she looked for adventure.

Khaleesi is a little hesitant at first when he takes a step towards her, but for the most part she doesn't react except for maybe a twitch of her tail or paw. "The wind is fickle. Why not make your own choices?" he asks as he proceeds to sit down before her. He's silently studying her, she can see that by the way his eyes roam over as she contemplates his question. The wind was fickle. Constantly moving. In all directions. Never having a set path. One day it was gentle. The next brutal. So why did she follow it. She was beginning to question even herself now. "Here today, gone tomorrow. That is what they say. Do you not fear that?" he says with a tilt of his head and slight smile that softens his words.

She nods her head in agreement then. "The wind can be fickle, true. But what choices have I got to make besides what to eat or where to sleep?" It was an honest answer, though might not be the right one. But it could all be chalked up to the fact of her naivety. Her lack of experience in actually being responsible for others or actually working with others. "And I do fear leaving nothing behind to be remembered by. To fade away like a whisper on the wind. But I have yet to decide what to do with my life. It has no direction. So that is why I follow the wind." she sighs and scoots just a little bit closer. Again, an honest answer. She wanted more out of life then simply being some breeder. Not that she has anything against pups, she would eventually want them. But she wanted to see all that she could before she settled down. She wanted to have stories to tell someday, should she ever have pups.

The mottled grey female then lowers her front end, now laying down on the flatted flowers, and tilts her head slightly up towards him. "What about you? What's your story?" she questions. But she began to suddenly feel like things were getting a little too stiff. So she lifts her hind end up and wags her tail in a playful display. She had an itch to move, to play, to keep things light. And so she crawls a bit closer and bats out a paw at him. But then quickly jumps up to all fours, possibly startling him just a bit, her tail slightly curled upwards now. "Don't you ever just want to throw caution to the wind? Explore. Find yourself. Or a purpose." she says wholeheartedly as her paws fidget in the flowers and she awaits a response or reaction. She was curious about him now, more so than before.
