He falls quiet after his introduction of Praetor and himself, allowing his friends to give the words himself as he wished. It was his own individual task, after all, and Cae was simply here to help and join in on the fun. When three other young pups find their way to them, mismatched eyes take them in and know them for the young Queen's sons. Their sister is not with them, as often she seems not to be, and though he wonders silently about it he does not voice it. Family was different in each different circumstance, and perhaps she was not as social a wolf as her brothers. He himself had been much that way in his younger years, opting out for silence at almost any given chance. With age he has come more and more out of his shell, to the point of where he is today. With a handful of children, now on the departure for the sea that none of them beside their guide has known. While the black, silver and red male leads them at the front, Cae drops back behind them all. Mismatched eyes make sure none of the little ones wander, and if they were to get to far from the group it would take but a gentle nudge to set them on the right course. He watches the last child with curiosity, who tags along behind all the rest and watches them. She had been full of questions before, but now she was silent, and he knew her to be deep in thought. It was enough to bring a faint smile to his handsome and pale features. Before long, after traversing through a good portion of Moladion, large hills of sand appear before them. A dune it is called, a sand dune to be precise, and it is so unlike a hill of dirt or even hill of snow. For when he places a paw on it, patiently waiting while Praetor speaks to the group and of what lay beyond, he finds his leg easily displaced. The sand slides so easily over itself that he is almost weary to cross it as their guide has made it all too obvious they would indeed be crossing. But it is not all too treacherous, for there is green here and there that makes for better footing. Much like he had with the Mountain, Cae learned quickly how to place his paws in the best manner as to not slide very far if at all. There were a few times where he slipped, but always he caught himself, not willing to tumble down into any of the little ones. He keeps to the side of the group for that sake, as well as for the vantage point of seeing them all, Praetor included. And when it was he finally made it to the top of the dune, he stopped in his tracks much like all the rest. And his wonderment was bound to match that of the children now surrounding him. He had picked up on the rather salty scent before, but now that the breeze hit them at full force- the scent of the sea was entirely different than anything he had ever known. And the sight of it, the vast, far expansive body of water that seemed to go on and on and on. It brought thoughts of his family in Asteraia, hoping they were all well through the Spring in their own sea of green. But this sea was more blue, and after he was satisfied with his findings he turned to each of the young ones. He watched them closely for their reactions, for if any were scared or intimidated he would reassure with a simple nudge. But he did not think that any of the personalities present would fall under such things. If anything, they were an excitable and curious group who simply wanted to learn, to know more. And in truth Cae could hardly blame him- even to this day, he still wanted to learn more and figure out things. He didn't think he'd really ever stop, not until his own life did as well.
