Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

MAGNUS
|| Glorall’s || Heartless || Haunts Fjallraven’s Soul ||

He watched her not even sure what to think at her prone position. All he could think was to just turn around and walk away now and just… never come back ever. Magnus knew he couldn’t though. If he didn’t that part of him that was vicious and wished to kill probably would and he would be right back where he started. Right here taking care of her and it was all thanks to the stupid imprint bond he had with her. Fate was a bitch; he still thought it even though he had fallen into a routine of taking care of the female. He really couldn’t even bring a real disgusted look on his face anymore when regarding her though. Magnus was starting to not be surprised by her lack of ability to do… well anything.

He sees her drool eagerly for the meals he had caught her eyes on his prizes rather than being embarrassed that she missed such a target. Maybe that was what set him off. After such an embarrassment she expected him to just feed her? His mother never would have done such a thing, infact he would have been starving any day he didn’t catch his own meals or suck up to her. Did she raise him with love and care? Hell no. But she had made sure he was capable of taking care of himself unlike the flopping around, drooling wolfess he had in front of her. His ears flattened against his head his white and green eyes narrowing upon her as she jumped to her paws though thankfully she at least had the mind to at least look abashed as he told her how sad she was.

She brightens immediately though, bouncing towards him and his catches, snatching them up from under her nose he starts marching towards the den turning as she began to explain how it wasn’t her fault before directing him to… a pine cone. If his face would have been any flatter and less enthused it probably would have fallen off his head. He wondered just what in the hell he had gotten himself into, and why the hell he was still here when he could be doing everything else. She seemed so excited about it and he was far from he dropped the pheasant from his maw and tossed the rabbit haphazardly down his den’s entrance. While he hated the method he was about to pull on the girl he couldn’t deny the efficacy of it. He watched her for a moment longer before saying.

”So it smells delicious…. And just so you know if you don’t catch something for yourself by the end of the day that will be your meal.” He got her intent it was supposed to be some sort of air freshener thing, but if that was all she could gather or ‘catch’ that would be all she would be eating. ”This pheasant, mine. That rabbit, also mine. You are not sick anymore, you can hunt for yourself and I am not longer giving you anything but my scraps if you are lucky. I am going to teach you, but the rest is all on your power.” He snatches up his pheasant again and starts walking away from his den.

”YOU aren’t eating now. You will hunt better hungry.” He says muffled by bird and starts to make his way to the ocean. There was something here that his mother couldn’t’ provide him the chance. He sounded cruel but really… he wasn’t planning to be. He was honest about it though, and he would work her up somewhat. Starting with something that can’t even run.

Coming to the beach he climbs onto a rock dropping his pheasant before hopping back down again. ”We have arrived at your practice ground.” He declares his tail flicking as he walks to the water peering about. She better be ready to learn. Seriously not even an idiot could mess this up.

Look into my eyes;
It's where my demons hide.
