Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

There is so much information here, in the minds of those who are gathering, and he hopes that they will spill some of it to each other, so he could learn more. That was the point of this adventure, the fact that he had come upon this little gathering. The call from the female had drawn others closer, and still they poured in from all angles. Interesting that they did, that they were pulled here to this spot by the call and by the hoard of others. They were probably curious as to what this gathering was, and Riot could admit that he was. So far it seemed as if it was a call for company that had gotten quite out of hand. Er, paw.

Though this was good for Riot, if only they would stop being so quiet, would open their maws and speak more to one another. So far it was just a smattering of words through the group, and very little of real meaning. Some names, pleasantries... but perhaps this was a waste of time after all. Yes, he got to see a vasy array of other wolves and was able to detect the scents that grouped some with others and set the loners and wanderers apart. That wasn't so bad, and Riot decided that he would at least stick it out for a little while longer and see if anything in information was given by any of those gathered here.

The idea of this being a religious gathering was unpleasant to Riot, because he did not believe in such nonsense as he'd heard that went throughout these lands. He was more into survival and skill, of gaining ranks and getting somewhere and being someone. It was why he would probably cross off a pack or two from what he wanted to join, but so far he wasn't all that impressed to begin with. Then again, he hadn't gotten all that much information gathered from all the packs yet, either. It was a slow process, and Winter was so close. That did not bode well for him, not at all. But what could he do?
