It would seem that tonight would be a quiet one. Hardly was there a sound of anyone or anything wandering through the night. It would seem that with autumn hardly did a creature wish to move through the cold night. After a few hours of hunting for any sort of living creature the lupine decided to enjoy her walk of solitude. Even though she preferred to be alone and far from others there was that underlining instinctual need to be among others. It was an annoying feeling and she would sedate that longing by wandering through a pack. Their heavy scents began to mix within her long thick obsidian fur mimicking, subtly, the feeling that she belonged. This pack was new this land unfamiliar and it would seem this place was completely barren. Nothing was stirring within the fields, no small little creature dared to wander in the moonlight. Each creature was snugged within the confinements of their home, curled up tightly and neatly together – warm and safe from the creatures that lurked through the night.
While the creatures within the field continued their slumber the haunting figure moved calmly through the tall grass. Each paw left barely left an impression as her carcass moved swiftly and at a leisured pace. It was not unusual for Tick Tock to be awake while the rest slept seeming so unconcerned about the dangers that lurked ever so close by. Throughout the night the Monster haunted the grounds. This place was barren and she was growing ever so impatient. Her need to feed increased as she continued to see absolutely nothing. With morning coming soon she continued to move through the pack lands, unconcerned that she was trespassing, as she headed in the direction of home. The cavern provided a cool and dark place to rest and hideaway until the Sun descended once more. It was when she reached the top of the peak that she felt an odd and yet familiar sensation. She felt pulled as if she were drawn to something, she felt a strong tether hold her still. She had felt this before once, with Chael, but even though she felt strong to be near him her disdain for his weakness gave her the chance to stay away. Haunting sapphire eyes narrowed as she scanned the area noticing an obsidian behemoth making his way towards her. Grey-trimmed ears were pointed forward in mild interest unsure if he was the reason why she felt the need to stay still, catching the scent of blood and meat that caused her stomach to growl in protest, not pleased that he was carrying his prize. She was about to turn around and continue on her way, not realizing his path was the same as hers, until she noticed his dominant stride.
It had been an extremely long time since she had met a creature that seemed to emit too much dominance. It was uncomfortable, threatening, and she did not like that, especially when she felt like she had to succumb to this creature she seemed attached to. Her skull would lift upwards as she stood still and tall, her own tail raising upwards behind her. She would not move from her spot. When he gets to close, wanting to barrel down through her, she still did not move. She heard his low growl and noticed the flash of his teeth, giving her a silent warning, and she would not heed to it. Her own black lips pulled back slowly to reveal her own sharp weaponry as her own growl emitted from her, giving the brute her own warning. Cold eyes looked dead on to his emerald pools as she stood her ground. She had not once ever bowed to anyone and tonight she had no intention to practice her curtsy.
