It had been such a long trip to Taviora and Ankh had grown more exhausted than she had ever known. She knew that whining didn't help matters but was the only thing she could do as her paws felt like spikes were being driven into them and her muscles cramped in pain at such a long trek. Mother had grown quite irate with her which was unusual despite how much Ankh could push her to the limits. Yet the forest had soothed her hurts and she had slept like a log that night curled into the side of her mother with Alistair and Alexander pressed up against her, their little hearts beating in time together and her head laying across to inhale her brothers. But more than anything she felt the absence. The absence of Arthfael. Ankh did not care much about packs and leaders but she did care about, aside from herself, was her brothers and mother and father. And Arthfael was one of her brothers.

So she had did the unthinkable considering her mother's overprotective tendencies. She had snuck out of the new den - it wasn't quite home yet for it hadn't taken on their scents - and she had darted across the border and raced back the way they had come. A few times she had paused in exhaustion and sudden, overwhelming fear that she was lost, but Ankh would pin her ears back and press on. She skirted around areas that were ripe with wolves because her mother had always drilled in them to be wary of strangers. Natu had told them the story once of how a wolf had cause the scar on Natu's shoulder and eyebrow.

Finally she came to a place outside of Asteraia that she recognized for she had been rebellious even when she lived on the plains, slipping over the border occasionally when the boys were busy among themselves. Arthfael had always held himself somewhat apart from the rest of his siblings, Ankh thinks, but she never cared much why - she still loved him and sought him out.

The border smelled different and the pack seemed bare. It was hard to hide here and she felt like she stuck out like a sore thumb but she was quiet because she knew this place. She was born here after all. She moves quick, darting about and sniffing for signs of her brother, and after an hour she finds a trail that leads her directly to his black and white figure. Ankh races towards him with a low growl erupting and leaps at him, planning to knock him to the ground so that they will roll in a puppy pile of long legs. "Why did you not come with me!" She demands as she does so.

All ranks may be challenged for outside of Kuk and Thoth. Tasks to rise in rank will be given at the discretion of Sekhmet.

Thoth - Advisor to Sekhmet - God of wisdom, reason, and secrets. This wolf is extremely loyal to the Pharaoh. They can make and block steals as well as accept challenges when Sekhemt and the Kuk are unable to do so.

Imhotep - Divine Priest - Spiritual Advisor to Sekhmet. You will make sacrifices to the gods in her name.
Amunet - The Heir - One who is hidden and her powers are connected to the words silence, stillness, mystery and obscurity.
Ma'at - Lead Diplomat - God of justice and order. You maintain peace and order within the pack and with those to whom we are bound.

Nephthys - Head Butcher - God of death and decay. You, mighty butcher, will be the artful assassin. Those marked should meet Anubis soon.
Set - Head Thief - God of chaos and change. Take everything that you need and a little extra to grow. The rest is tribute.
Horus - Head Hunter - God of good hunting. Great hunter, the feast will be plentiful when you step on the fields.
Isis - Head Healer - God of healing and protection. You mend the wounds and do not allow weakness to fester.
Seshat - Head Informant - God of knowledge. Gather information on our friends and enemies alike.

Scepters - Warriors - You will work closely with Sobek. Fight for your pack; you will often be asked to escort other members on outings when it is seen fit.
Kemet - Hunters - Working under the eye of Horus, you will ensure the pack is fed.
Medjay - Scouts - Show me, what bounties can you find for the gods? Report your findings to Seshat.
Snares - Thieves - The world is ours, let us reap from it. Learn your art from Set.
Heka - Healers - Work with Isis to heal wounds and ease pain; repair what is broken to the best of your abilities.
Scribes - Diplomats - You will work under Ma'at to complete the duties of mantaining peace within and outside of the pack.

Kith - Children of Asteraia - The youth are our future.
Kin - Unranked members of Asteraia - Those who have not yet chosen a specialty, or who do wish to.
