Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Then the Strongest Heart Grows Old

There were probably a few cuts beneath his pelt, but they didn’t bother him. Having trained slowly he was growing tolerate to small fry cuts that were so buried under his fur no one really ever noticed. It was the same today, he trained and expected a few bites here and there, the only ones that turned up were on his legs, but any neck bites left him pretty guarded. Teaching Cersei how to fight was a thing he was hoping he could someday do. She didn’t seem interested with her father I charge and so many of her siblings vying for his rank maybe he shouldn’t have been surprised. She was happy and that made him happy and now that she was upset he would do whatever he could to bring a smile to her maw again. Even if it was hard to do so himself.

He was having flash backs to when they were children. When they used to wrestle and Cersei was so terrible at it. He hoped maybe now that she has calmed down and learned to use her head she would be better at fighting. There was no way for her to have gotten worse at least. It was something he could smile about. The past, it was nice to remember the care free days of when they were kids when all he could think about was being the best warrior. Now he wanted to protect Cersei and keep her happy while still helping his home. It was in a more modest manner but probably for the better. He simply could not bring himself to be the sword of an alpha that hurt his mate, not directly, but still he knew she had been wounded by this whole ordeal. He wasn’t worried about hurting her or her him. Clearly she didn’t know the small beatings he had gone through, which was what he wanted to he wouldn’t have her worrying over small stuff.

He encouraged her to come out trying to be as cheerful as possible. How could he not be happy to see her mostly red form emerge from the den, though she looked unsure a bit and he knew her well enough to see beyond any small smiles to try to assure him. ”Well that’s good enough for me then!” He says tail giving a few waves. The cold weather didn’t really bother him much as it did her he moved alongside her pressing his own thick fur into her side as they walked together towards the spot not far from the den. He gently touched her, giving one last gentle touch before smirking at his little joke.

”Will you? Well I appreciate that gesture.” He says settling himself more centrally in the clearing. A laugh came from his maw his violet and red eyes settling on her again only to see her rump in the air and tail waving. Before she knew he was running back throwing a paw up and slapping one of her wrists out from under her. If she wasn’t careful or completely ready for it she would likely flop to the dirt, or she could regain her balance. Either way it was going to teach her a lesson. Keep your balance and distribute your weight else get toppled over to the ground and that wasn’t good for your health.
