Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

This is my Fate.

He felt much the same she did. He had left Glorall in favor of the plains and the plains had been the first place he felt was actually home for him. He felt he fit in, in his own strange way, he had a purpose even if it wasn’t the one he ultimately wanted for himself, but others were happy and he got to make friends which was more than he ever could bring himself to do anywhere else in Moladion. Even Diveen he never fit in. His mother had worried about him, and on that note maybe he too should make a visit home to see how they were all doing. Not yet though. He still had to see if he would fit in Glorall, but with who he supposed with his imprint there would he be able to leave?

Truthfully he had little knowledge on how strong the imprint bond was and how it worked. His parents had been mates, both with imprints they had as friends or generally ignored. They would go to them, they would talk to them but they were not drawn to them as he felt, and maybe it was simply because he didn’t have someone else to encroach upon that world. Then he observed the bond between Reich and Everlyse and they were inseparable. He wasn’t sure how he felt but he had to find her and get to know her first, perhaps they wouldn’t work at all, perhaps she would be perfect. Really he wasn’t interested in love, but a friend? One that knew him so well he would never have to explain his actions to her that would be nice. Maybe someday he would be interested but passing on his blindness was something he was not interested in risking.

However something he was happy about was the soft call of a nick name he only let one wolf in all of Moladion call him without giving them hell about it. He gave a little sigh of relief knowing that they were out here but still there was no scent of Everlyse or Reich around something that bothered him but she was here and safe and that made him happy. Of course her reply was amenable, she was always like that and it didn’t surprise him. She had always found weird ways to loop around his grumpy logic to the point where he could only grumble and give some other short retort before yielding to her relentless kindness. He could try to be as short as he wanted but it was near impossible when he hears her little paws rushing towards him and pressing hard against his black legs. She had been scared for him, well at least scared she wouldn’t see him. He wasn’t going to admit he felt the same. ”Where are they at?” He asked knowing she would know he meant Reich and Everlyse and her siblings. Really it was mostly Everlyse, with Reich Haziel didn’t worry too much about her, not like with Ifrit who always seemed to push her to the edge of something or another.

It seemed like the family had taken residence in the mountains. That and the forest pack were probably the two most inhospitable places for him in Moladion. Not that he wouldn’t meet the challenge should he have too, should Glorall not work, he guessed he now knew where he would go should his old home of Glorall prove not the right place either and his bond not strong enough to keep him drawn there. It might not be enough anyway, if Eden’s detest for weakness was so powerful then Haziel surely would not be welcome when the alpha found out how ‘weak’ he was. Not many could look past it, and he didn’t expect the new alpha to be one of those wolves with those types of morals.

”I am fine, Seme, I take care of myself.” The brute says offering a half wave of his black tail. ”Do you like Spirane? Are the mountains beautiful?” He had always been told that, the mountains were a sight to behold, something he would never appreciate as they did. He found beauty in sounds more than anything, bird song, rain on leaves, things like that Haziel could find beauty in. But still they were questions to work around if she was happy, if she was okay. Afterall he worried how much could these monsters could take away from such a sweet soul before it would finally break.

To see with eyes unclouded by hate.
Haziel.
