Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

They try to remember, but still they forget
That the heart beats in three's
Just like a waltz
and nothing can stop you from dancing
My slow emotional descent had begun not long before my abrupt departure from the mountain, and things only continued to go down hill from their, weighing me down until I had slowly begun to drown in this darkness. I had fought against it at first, looking for the light in a sea of despair, but eventually I had come to the inevitable conclusion that escaping was not something I could do on my own. While Natu had put a paw out to pull me free from the hole I has sunken into, she was just out of my reach. And now Eric has seemed to retract his paw, making it nearly impossible for me to reach Natu now. It was a hopeless cause.

Sleekwing really was a welcome site. I could almost feel the warmth and friendliness that he always seemed to exude. I know that he can see the empty shell that I have become, yet he keeps his composure, something I silently thanked him for, because I wasn't sure if I could emotionally handle it if he lost it: pity and sadness were things I did not wish to spread when others looked upon me. His smile encouraged me, tried to coax one of my own out, and for a moment I thought I might be able to spare him the rare treat of a smile, but instead it contorted into one of sadness.

He moved closer towards me in concern when my icy, blue gaze could no longer hold his dark blue eyes. When I finally had the strength to look back up, it was too late: tears had welled up into my eyes. I asked him if his sister would grace me the opportunity to rejoin, despite being the sad pathetic creature I was now. It would not surprise me if she questioned my loyalties, after all, it had been my loyalty to my sister Natu that had pulled me from my loyalties to the mountain. I would have to prove myself I am sure.

Not even a breath was taken before he responded, no hesitation in his words. "Of course," he says, not even having to consider it or leave room for question. He had faith in me, believed me capable of a lot, and that let the tears burst through the damn I had tried to stop from cracking. A sad, thankful smiled graced my lips, but there was the tiniest spark of hope there that maybe being back here could help heal me. I needed all the help I could get, especially with my current circumstances.

He moves closer to me, pivoting until he is side by side with me. He nudges me with his shoulder before slowly heading back over the border, and it is enough for me to rise and follow him. I hesitate slightly at the border line though, looking down at it for a moment before quickly following beside him, maybe a little closer than I should be, but his presence was comforting. And it is this comfort that drive me to tell him what I do, to open my self up to a part of me that I had not even told Natu yet; I was terrified of what others would think of me when they did finally find out. "Can.....can she confide in him something? Something she hasn't even told Natu yet....." I ask, hesitantly, the nerves present in my voice. I stop, finding my feet unable to move. I looked at him for a moment, waiting until I got a yes before taking in a deep breath.

"She is pregnant...."

I say, in a low voice so that only he could hear on the off chance that another was near by. It was something I hadn't told anyone, for it was impossible to tell at the moment with my thick fur unless I rolled onto my back. I knew sooner or later I would need to confront Natu about the fact, but I feared her reaction. Because this was not with a mate, not even Eric my imprint. They were with a stranger named Shivershade and completely on a whim. He was gone after the deed was done and I knew he would not play a part in the pups lives at all. I was alone in this whole new situation, and maybe this was me reaching out to someone for help and support.

"She does not regret them. The only thing she regrets is not having them with a mate or even her imprint," there was a wince of pain at the word imprint, feeling a sharp stab to her heart at even mentioning him to another. I look at him, fear evident in my eyes. "And she is terrified," I say, my voice shaky and so quiet, and leaving the ending open for him to add what he'd like: of what others would think, of what could happen with the puppies. I was about to enter a world I had never experienced before alone: Motherhood.

Love what you have, and you'll have more love
You're not dying
Everyone knows you're going to love
Though theres still no cure for crying
