The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

The sum of all the parents mistakes - that is what Cinder was. The insanity that consume Kaius and drove him to such dark lengths and the guilt that Snowshoe had likely felt. All had coalesced until she had been abandoned and Myra too. It had made things difficult for Cinder but she had never asked anyone for help. Sciathan had helped when he had figured out that he was their half brother but no one else had stepped forward and offered their assistance. No one else gave one lick about them and that most of all infuriated her. It wasn't like she was loyal to Tesseract. Hell she had hardly seen the male and he certainly hadn't helped matters in her life. No one had been around to ease the darkness off of her and Cinder wasn't even quite aware that her disposition was likely inherent from her fathers bloodline. Then again that was a debate of nature versus nurture.

The male does seem, in his own way, contemplative but what he does not seem is aggressive. Cinder has eased off her own aggressive standing because he has offered her a tid bit that makes her see a ray of hope. Maybe... maybe she could go back to Glorall. Maybe she could talk Myra into going back - well, mouth it anyways. She did not want to leave her sister because that would make her no better than Snowshoe, even if Myra might say that she did not need her sister. She was a conflicted soul cast asunder. Useless and lost and filled with fury and hate and a mixed bag of love.

"I-I did not think of it like that. Perhaps I can convince her," she says and the last part is thoughtful, more to herself than to him. Her tail swishes in a ray of hope now as she smiles at him suddenly as if he has gifted her with a precious thing and indeed, hope is precious. "Nice to meet you. Where else have you been?" Now she was curious because the male seemed to know much about the land and it was likely he had visited other packs as well.

(eek sorry this sucked >.>)
