He was an erudite type of being, which was why he kept going back and forth through the packs to learn more about them. Why he was currently here right now, having gotten a little bored with the whole thing waiting on the pups to have their moment. Maybe they were just all over the place with their thoughts, Riot wouldn't know. Not his place to say anything of it one way or another; he just observed the entire matter with calm eyes before he turned to go on his way, back and away from the borders to come along back again later. The alpha seemed to want to speak to him, from what he could tell, so he would return for that.
Might as well, since he was suppost to come back and talk a little as a way to be fair to the packs. He moved with even strides back to this area of the lands, closer and closer to where he'd been told the crazies were living. Riot wasn't sure what to make of that comment he'd heard (in different words, sort of), but he was still as curious about it as ever. He kept going, kept getting closer and closer, wondering if there would be more mind games or not. Riot wasn't particularly sure that he had much regard so far at this end of the scale, but he wouldn't shirk for that reason. He kept on.
To the border he moved once more, a slightly different spot, and this time alone and not looking for anyone else to group into. This time was different, and he would call for the alpha on his own and see what she had to say to him, if anything. If his intuition had been correct that she did have something to say to him, alone. Or at least not in front of the kidlets? He wasn't sure on that one, or if he had been seeing things that day. It was possible.. he was getting a little strung out with all the moving around lately, being it was Winter, too.. Once to the borders he called out for the alpha and waited, contemplating his own internal battles.
