Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

We laughed at fate and mourned her;

Attention is not something she strives to obtain. It is best for her to immerse herself within the shadows. Her lifestyle could be easily frowned upon and it was best for her chances of prolonged survival if she made sure the attention was never on her. The notion of her stalker trailing after her was both annoying and strangely appreciating. To know that she was watched by another, to actually feel his desire that she be safe was oddly comforting, and it stroked a side of her mind and ego that brought out some sort of appreciation for this action – and yet she was still disgruntled by the entire thing. No one had any concern for her well-being and she was sure no one ever would and that Tobias was breaking her belief was not well received. Looking at her memories she could feel a pair of eyes, unwanted eyes, focusing on her. They did not belong to those depthless reptilian eyes. Her own eyes caught on to those golden orbs and she quickly made her way towards the young runt, purposely enclosing the distance between the two. Why he was gawking at her she did not know, but she was more than willing to make it stop. It did not go unnoticed that he commented about Tobias and after catching Raven’s scent on his pelt she decided to focus on that instead. That he would easily deter her false concerned inquiry caused her half torn ear to twitch not bothering to comment on his last words. It was evident that her daughter looked like her and if he could not figure it out on a mere simple observation then he was truly incapable of seeing and therefore knowing anything.

Quietly she would stand at the bank of the river not bothered at all the winds would nip at her wet form. The sound of his voice and the sound of the water dripping from her thick luxurious fur would fill the void of silence between them. Eerily she would not blink, as she kept her eyes on him, not too pleased he wished to discuss a mater she had no interest in. Though she did find it odd that he claimed, twice now, that Tobias lived here. She was assured he did not live in this area. His scent was much heavier within the Grotto and she purposely set paw in these frozen fields to be away form him. If this pup could not see could he not smell? It was his other choice of words that caused her grey-trimmed ears to fold back slightly with annoyance. Ever since she left his side the night they first met she instantly felt a pain begin to wiggle its way from her gut and slowly it began to overfill the rest of her. Each time she placed a paw in the opposite of her imprint she felt a simmer of pain travel up and down her spine, and it was when she placed a paw towards his direction did she feel better. This need to be by him felt much stronger than her last imprint, perhaps this was Fate’s way of getting revenge after killing her old imprint, Fate deciding she could not destroy this half of her soul. That easy grin on his muzzle did nothing more than grow her irritation as he remained high upon his boulder, just barely out of her reach. The Monster hears his question and a half growl coiled with a snarl was her response as her scarred muzzle revealed her sharp daggers – so very ready to teach him of his insolence.

“I am not afraid of him. I am not afraid of anything.”

Ebony skull would raise up as her obsidian banner lifted high in a dominate nature. Thick fur bristled as her hackles rose and she took a tentative step forward debating on just how she would catch him. Though her movements would stop as she stared him down her dangerous mind already calculating that he had an advantage to get away faster. There was pride in her tone as she proudly claimed she was unafraid of the Demon of Molodain. There was nothing on this Earth she had ever feared. She was the predator, she was a tool in natural section, and she never slept with one eye open or bothered to look behind her shoulder. There was something she was afraid about, something she kept lock and tight and hardly ever thought about it. She was afraid of Tobias, but not about him killing her. She was afraid of the affects he would have on her. Already she felt agonizing pain when she was not at his side and it was slowly getting worse and worse as the days dragged on, after her skirmish with Atlas she felt the need to not engage in a fight and turn around and run, retreat was just as worse as being weak. She had no idea how worse it could get, but she was worried to know just what more affects he would have on her. Yet these were thoughts she stuffed tightly away and some golden brown mutt did not have the right to know anything about it. With a shake of her head at his ridiculous inquiry for her own safety her dark blue eyes locked on his, her tone laced with sarcasms.

“You obviously were there – did you observe his reaction…you can come to your own conclusions.”

Quietly she would begin to circle his boulder, her movements slow and fluid like, one long limb rising over the other, those azure pools hardly leaving his frame. How he sits so perfectly still his thoughts that he is safe was annoying to the scarred creature. He was young. He was foolish and she was waiting for him to make a mistake. As she stalked around his boulder she would come closer and closer each round staying quiet as she studied him. A cold drawl would slip out slowly as she attempted to explain part of his question in a non-direct manner.

“It is not easy to kill an imprint. I killed my old one, it was painful at first, but I eventually grew numb enough to where I didn’t feel…until he came along.”

During her observation she noticed how the side of his boulder allowed some space for her to get up much easier. That he would use this part of the boulder as his exit would have been wise, it would allow him to escape much faster and get a better running start, and yet, Tick Tock did not think that was fair. Coming from his back, the boy incapable of turning his head like owl to see, she would use his blind spot to her advantage and charge at the boulder, leaping for that side of exposed rock. As soon as her front paws made contact with the rock she hoisted herself up, jaws parted as a menacing growl rumbled in her chest, one shoulder shoving into his frame as she shoved him off his safe precious rock. Standing there her head would lower as she glared at the boy, her massive frame coiling on top of the rock, as if she were ready to spring at the ready.

“You ask a lot of questions about Tobias – why?”

It was best if he answered…quickly. Her patience was wearing thing.
