The snow would begin to fall in a few short days, signifying that winter would be officially here, and Anemone couldn’t wait. She always loved the first snowfall in the winter. She couldn’t wait for it to pass, and for the to-be-expectant mothers to give birth, bringing in more little yips and cries into the pack. It was a quiet joy of hers. She loved puppies, and that was no secret, but the yearning for her own horde was. She knew in her heart she needed to get out there, and try and live her life, and not be so shy around everyone. But it was hard to break from her usual self. Maybe in the coming seasons would cause her to break out of her shell more than she has now. But only time would tell, right?

The sights of the night calmed the nervous energy that coursed through her body. The stars high above her head kept her thoughts on them, keeping her mind working in other ways to keep her busy. There were many things she could think of, like her promotion assignment, and where she would go first, but for now, she didn’t want to worry about that. Staring up at the sky, she was oblivious to one of Daenerys children. She had not individually met any of the queen’s children, but the hope that she could make a good impression on them, and show she was worthy of having the spot she was after, maybe getting on their good side would be a good idea.

The scent of a child, male, related to Daenerys entered the air around her and she tore her attention away from the sky, turning the two colored eyes towards the direction it was coming from. She spotted the boy coming towards her, and a friendly smile brushed across her lips. He seemed bored, as most pups are at his age, and she couldn’t help but smile.

“I’m Anemone, it’s really nice to meet you Rhaegal.” She smiled, laughing when he spoke of it being cold. “Once the first cold day is gone, it’s wonderful though.” She grinned, watching him.
