It took him time to realize that if there was anyone that the young female reminded him of with her word twisting, it was probably Jaidah. That didn't give him a good feeling either, to think such things. He was already uneasy, and he had to wonder what it might mean for later if he did stay. Nothing good, probably, because first impressions usually stuck with a creature. Now they both probably had bad impressions of one another. That sort of thing with anyone of pack royalty was not a good sign for him. Now all Iscariot can do is steel himself for whatever came next, and he isn't thrilled about it. He was sad about it, mostly. It would make him second guess himself far too much, and maybe he'd spend yet another season as a rogue trying to figure out where it all had gone wrong. He doesn't like the idea, but if he hadn't sensed it before...

Perhaps he simply wasn't ready yet. He mulled that over silently as he waited for Daenerys to arrive. Finally she did, and he did not stare at the greeting, more waiting until words were more pointed in his direction. It was true his patience did not quite extend to younger minds, but he supposed he did not have enough experience around them to know how all of that worked. She looked grown enough to know what she'd been saying and how it would be viewed, though. Maybe he was wrong, but he supposed the damage was still done. It almost pains him to think of this and see Daenery's grin towards him, ears twitching towards her as she spoke to the younger female. It had to be clear that none of this was against Daenerys, that he still felt the same way about her and her rule here, but she had said enough to make Iscariot more wary yet.

If the princess was the heir and to be queen later, Iscariot knew that would not go well for him. Either way, he hoped that Daenerys lived and ruled for a long time to come. When she spoke to him, he nodded his head to her. "Likewise, and yes, that was the idea of it. However, I may have been too hasty in that choice. All of this has shown me that I have made quite the error in my gathering of information. I had not thought to consider the future rulers of the packs I've visited, and I think it is a very important thing to have missed. It does change things, I think. My apologies, Daenerys. I had thought I was so sure of this..." His expression was uncertain, and it was weird to have self confidence stripped away by a mistake he had made. He had thought he had gone through all the things that were important, and to have missed this.. It was a lot to deal with.
