Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Cold, we're so cold

Prodigious was the day I had entered into this new dwelling upon, an auditory bliss settled upon me to hear the spring time aubade of the birds, their songs so pleasing to the ears I could practically perceive their notes floating through the air. So splendid that I was stuck in a moment of gruesome awe, moved by the striking beauty of this place, the verdant abundance of green, the insects buzzing about the newly growing blooms of the early vernal season. Ensuing my arrival, I come upon a humble loch, the likes of which I had never once laid eyes upon. Traversing the land was a small lass, slighter of build than myself but relative in stature, her fairly attractive bodice clad in dainty silvers and reds, lace covering her legs, and portals to her soul that made a man wish he could cry. She was absolutely resplendent to me, and I was drawn to have words with her. I wished to speak to the lady of lace, my own mottled earth-tones were a hard knock for a jewel such of the likes of she.

My limbs move with a subtle, masculine grace as I cross the marsh plain to greet her. Swollen or not, she was stunning, intriguing and I could not thwart the yearning to gain such knowledge as she might hold within that captivating mind. Surely, she must be so, captivating I mean. Have you not seen her? I saunter her way, vigorous strides showing my intention as the dark chocolate of my caudal appendage. "Greetings, young matron, how do you fair on such a splediferous day?" I inquire to show my vested interest, to demonstrate my willingness to converse and know about more than myself. She seems so all alone, perhaps, I could be the one to provide protection to her and comfort when it was required. After all, I am rather strapping. I smirk - more to myself than to her - and maintain the respectful distance. Perhaps, she could alleviate my burning curiosity concerning this place I have stumbled upon.
