It was hard not to come upon the mountains and not wish to see the world from their heights. He knew he had wanted to find a place to reside, and meeting the female whose scent touched the ground was just the first step. He had to ensure this was a place he could reside, without disputes with the one who leads. So far, he was not off put. She was a strong female, not just physically but in the confidence that she held to herself. It was an attractive feature in a leader, and so far the leader of the peaks gave them an even more alluring quality.
He had noticed her smirk, and he could tell she was proud of the place that she was blessed to call home. It was a place she was willing to share, and he could not hold back his smile as she invites him to take a walk with her. He knew that he had a strong aura, but he certainly was not threatening. Her invitation was welcoming on this cold winters day. She moves and motion for him to walk beside her and he does, moving his form next to her through the snow as he was guided by the leader.
The world is more quiet in the winter with the fluff of snow. It did bring her voice to his ears more easily as she speaks of the peaks being too covered with snow to properly view the world from up so high. A small disappointment perhaps, but he was lucky to even get a chance to view them so quickly. He easily kept pace with her, the trees of the land gathering like a close pack at the base of the mountain. He had not climbed such a mountain before, and it did tease his legs but he did not find any problems with it. The snow was thick and taxing on any wolf after a long travel, but he spent much time training his form to be the best that it can.
She questions him about the travels that had brought him to the mountains, and it was not particularly a question he had expected or even wanted to really answer. Life had been...complicated to say the least. The memories did tick in the back of his mind like an endless clockwork, but did that mean he needed to share any intimate details with a wolfess he just met? He plays a smile on his naturally handsome visage.
"I give thanks to you for your hospitality. My travels, they start with...well, they start with Taviora," he says, with almost a bit of hesitation at the mention of his birth pack.
"My brother, Sven, had...been taken from our family, and according to our mother, brought to live...here," he says, golden orbs looking forward but occasionally darting over to the leading fem to ensure her continued acceptance of his presence. His dark fur was touched with the white of snow, and among the darkness of his pelt, flecks of a lightened brown did shine.
"I had come to find him as a pup, and...I found myself, well, lost on the way and..." and, that was where it got a bit more complex, and by the time he reached these words his eyes got a glimpse of some height, just slightly over the trees as he gives way to a pause, his golden eyes widening with a bit of wonder as he looks out into the world going so far. His breath is almost taken from him, and his knees even felt a bit weak. It was...great and simply overwhelming. He breathed in tightly, distracted from what he previous spoke of, instead focused in on the bit of white wonder before him.
"It...it is glorious, ros gud," he said in a bit of a whisper. There seems to be an overly strong aura upon him of awe, even at the lowest of heights upon the mountain. It was as if there was a freedom reflecting in his eyes, that he had not felt in so long, not truly free. The sight was simply...liberating.
