News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

Return to Lunar Children
a song of ice and fire
IP: 208.123.1.104

fire made flesh; and fire is power
It was the soft caress of his sister's tongue that roused Rhaegal, and he blinked groggily to clear the sleep from his eyes. As the haze of sleep slowly fell away from his mind, he felt Kalseru's shifting as she moved away from him and exited the den. A yawn stretched his jaws wide, is tongue curling to press against the bottom of his mouth and extending above his front teeth. As his mouth closed once more he glanced around at Viserion and Drogon who slumbered on, licking the front of his lips and then looking up towards the den's entrance where Kal had disappeared. He nearly laid his head back down and continued to sleep, but as he scented the air he noticed the subtle differences - the warming tones and the smell of foliage in bloom. It revitalized him, and he pushed up into a half sitting position so that he could nudge Viserion with his paw in an attempt to wake him. The boy's molten gold eyes looked up at Rhaegal and a knowing grin pulled across his features. Then it was Drogon's turn, and before Rhaegal could place a customary tug upon his siblings ear Viserion kicked out a hind leg and caught his brother shoulder to forewarn him. A sucking in of air was audible as the boy's crimson streaked sides inhaled sharply before his behemoth head rose to glare at his siblings. It only took him a moment to realize Kalseru was absent, and the popping of Rhaegal's brows told him all he needed to know.

Finally the trio were fully roused, and without so much as a word they came tumbling from the den, Rhaegal in the lead. They knew exactly where she would be laying, positioned on top of a rock that served almost as a miniature of the throne where Daenerys so often sunbathed and took audience with members of the pack. The grey brother leapt at her, Viserion and Drogon not far behind, and the four of them went tumbling down the hillside. Barks and excited growls came out of the tussle, until finally they came to a stop at the hill's base. The boys earned a few nips, but Kalseru's teeth did not hold the malice that Drogon's sometimes did. Rhaegal batted a paw at her as she laughed, his claws sweeping through the fur of her chest as he too began to laugh. Viserion rolled onto his back in the soft grass, giggling in delight at the joy that was his life. It was Drogon that was the first to rise, shaking out his pelt as his siblings were quick to join him. And then the chase began. Off they sprinted, so often switching leads it does not do to mention who was in front when. But one thing was certain, they flowed together like a river over rocks, so fluid and streamlined that there was no question of the bond between them.

Their gleeful romping throughout their home was only paused when a strange voice called out, and all at once the quartet came to a standstill. As if they had caught some scent on the hunt their heads turned towards the not so distant borders, realizing then how far down the mountain they'd travelled. A single golden paw lifted from the ground as Viserion's nose set to work, trying even from this distance to figure out who the voice belonged to. Drogon took the first step, his siblings falling into stride with him as they made their way forward to investigate. To each of his sides did his brother's fall, and Kalseru next to Rhaegal, and together they jogged towards the borders.

As a group they approached the auburn boy with the cream stroked nose, and seeing as he had been respectful enough to stop at the borders - unlike that Hyrule fellow - Drogon halted their forward movement at a distance that would allow easy conversation but not dwarf the smaller boy in their shadows. Kalseru was the first to step forward from the point where their group had stopped, but the boys decided to let her do the talking. It was usually just the three of them out on excursions like this, and it was a nice change of pace to have their sister's company this time around. Rhaegal and Viserion grinned at the boy as their sister gestured towards them. Drogon's face remained impassive, though not altogether gloomy. He was curious about this boy. "I'm Rhaegal," the boy capped with ruddy copper and obsidian added, followed closely by the white fringed blonde boys words, "And I'm Viserion." Molten gold eyes flicked towards Drogon, for usually one the siblings offered his introduction for him. This time however he was left to speak for himself, and his brows drew together just a fraction of an inch as he simple stated, "Drogon."

Viserion's nose twitched slightly as Kalseru asked about who he was and why he was here, and alone at that. He smelled a little like Hyrule had, but there was something faintly there that reminded him of those two girls Semele and Camilla from the storytelling. His head quirked slightly to the side. "Are you from Diveen?" he asked, honestly interested to understand the odd mingling of pack scents on his pelt. The quartet hardly meant to drill the boy, but curiosity often got the best of them.
