When those gray blue eyes finally find my own, I know then why it was I was fixated upon him from the start and why I felt so unusually sheepish. Females I know feel it much less than males, but the jolt in my chest is all too obvious for me to ignore; not that I even wanted to to begin with. I know he is my imprint, my very soul itself, and I am so elated when he rolls to his paws because I have such high hopes he has done so for me. I find myself glancing away though, even if I do not want to, my outgoing nature suddenly shy and unsure. When I look to him once more, though, I catch the tail end of his gesture of paws against his face in an attempt to smooth the fur down there. I like the way his long fur curls and wisps, though, and I secretly hope that it may spring back just the way it was. Lucky enough for me, when at last he makes his way around the large group and toward me, each piece of fur falls perfectly back into place and I find myself beaming a sweet smile at him.
He seems to want to speak, but not knowing the right words, and thus he settles with a simple 'hello' toward me. With my golden and creme tail waving rather swiftly behind me, I find myself eager to reply and hardly missing a beat in the process. "Hello, imprint of mine." I am feeling more confident, perhaps, with my forward nature shining through and coming back to me as my tones match the smile upon my slender features. But, much like him, though I want to say so much, I find myself not knowing very well what to say. Though, the simplest thing I can come up with is names, and so I give it my very best. "My name is Reian.. can you tell me yours?" The question is accompanied with the barest hint of a tilt to my pale jaw, dark violet eyes watching him in wonder and curiosity. Something about him was so familiar, and though I could not quite place my paw on it, I would wait and stick around to find out.
