Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Being ready was another matter than wanting to see the site of burial, and although Solitaire wanted to know where and go there, he also know he had to be emotionally and mentally prepared for that kind of situation. So at his brother's words, Solitaire nods his head. "Yeah.. once I sort out how to deal, I'll let you know." He replied softly. It would be ignoble of him to just rush into it, he thinks. If he went, then he wanted to be in a mental state to handle it, to show the proper respect that was needed; he was worried that to go now would only have him fall apart then and there as it all sunk in as to how much he had lost and would never get back.

As far as the attacker, Solitaire would want to hunt the creature down, but he knew he needed to be better ready to do so if it was possible at all. So when Tristan answers, Solitaire listens carefully. Black and silver and a very scarred up face. He set that to memory, because eventually he wanted to go looking. Solitaire nodded to his brother and let the rest go, for now. He understood why Tristan would never want to see her again, and he smiled sadly. "I hope you never have to." He said gently, but it doesn't change that he wanted to rip the creature apart. That part he had in common with Viora, but it didn't need to be said. It wasn't about her anyway.

But Tristan was talking of the past, of when they were younger, and Solitaire has to wonder if his brother was speaking of when he'd been around of after that, with just Viora. He doesn't ask, isn't sure he wants to know that answer. More words and Solitaire nods; he was indeed back, and planned to stay here and be a part of the pack, stay close to what family he had left; Tristan, if no one else. When Tristan spoke again, Solitaire's tail started wagging behind him. "I'm glad I came back, too. I wasn't sure if it'd be too late... but I had to try, and I am thankful I did, thankful for you." He responded with a smile that probably matched his brother's in happiness.
