Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

A SLEEPLESS malice as black as the oncoming wall of night
So it ever was. So will it always be. Such is the nature of evil.

The way she cowers before him is pitiful really. It inspires within him a rage and his teeth click together audibly so that she may here. That she may worry for her fate because he contemplates killing her. Eden might never know, he thinks, silver eyes taking in her tucked tail and flat ears. The way her eyes close in fear even if there is no stench of fear along with it. It is in her favor that the god that slithers within him, rubbing like fur along his bones, does not perk up at her scent. Does not demand her death to sate it's rising need for souls. That whimper makes him growl in response, eyes narrowing and ears flattening as he puffs up above her, leaning over her head with teeth flashing. Shut up, he thinks. Shut up before I kill you.

The silly female crawls forward after giving him some pointless answer and tilts her head up to lick beneath his chin and in a flash he snaps out at her, aiming to bite into her ear before releasing her and stepping back with another ripped snarl. "Do not cover me in your filth!" He snarls, and what he means is her scent, her saliva, for Underidge is not a pretty wolf. His fur is ungroomed and dirt as well as grime has set into the silver furs. "You are lucky in that you are here. Had I found you elsewhere I would put an end to your suffering. Maybe I will still get lucky though and the King will find you as unworthy as I do." Eden was his obsession and he valued strength as well, but he was an alpha and had different standards so who knew?

"Sever," he sneers at her, ears flat still as he gazes at her. "Too bad she didn't cull you. Maybe she is dead too, if she was the one to teach you such behavior. Get up. Stop your cowering and simpering. Show me you are worthy and I will take you to the King." It.. goes against the grain to even offer her this opportunity. Yet now that the idea has taken root his ears slowly rise, eyes burning with derision and daring her to prove herself useful. "I will wait here and you will find me something to eat. You have only an hour to do so, which is more than enough time for anyone else."

No option - she would either do it or he would make sure to tell Eden that the girl was a hassle, a nuisance, a burden. Maybe then he would get to sate the darkness inside of him by crushing her whimpering windpipe.
