It had been a while since he had shown his face. Been even longer since he had not felt the ache in his chest that he didn’t understand why or what it was. It was gone now though, the pain finally had ebbed away, even though he still didn’t quite know what it was. His ghostly form slipped out of his den that was right on the border of the pack, his fur dirty and more ragged than he had ever let it be before. Spring had not been kind to him his fur had been in rags falling off of him like a shaggy buffalo and oddly unkept. The wave in his fur was still there making him look even more the mess as he came out and finally decided it was time to move and move on. He cleaned himself thoroughly making nearly a second him as he pulled and tugged at the thick mats of fur with his teeth eerie white eyes traveling over himself until his fur was put back in place and there weren’t as many dusty brown spots in his fur. He was now presentable he supposed.

He wasn’t sure what to do next, the peace that had fallen over Iromar once Aithne took lead was something that proved a strange stone for him. His job was all about gathering information, what information did she desire that she could not simply ask right up to one of her many allies? There was no need for some of his other talents of disguising himself with various plants and clays to make himself appear as he wasn’t and he had found the former princess that had ran away. He moved out of the den thinking maybe it was time that he found Aithne and see what she wanted with him… even though he didn’t particularly like seeing Aithne or being around her. Maybe it was time to leave just as Wraith had… but this was home even if all his family was gone. He stood pondering for a moment before a call reached his ears causing him to perk up slightly when he realized instantly it was another male and an unfamiliar one at that.

He wasn’t so brazen to think that this other would be like Renegade after all Renegade had been one of well… one to accept any of his attempts at giving or getting attention but now that was over. Ren left him and he guessed it was time maybe t see if there were any others out there that would accept him as he or Naberius had, even though Naberius never really understood his real intentions or feelings before he had died.

His ghostly form made his way over the lands. He was so light and airy perhaps he did look like some spirit as he moved over the marshes, carefully picking his way towards the call until he spotted the mostly black male with dark grey eyes. His tail gave a friendly wave as his eyes went over him. There was an advantage to having pure white, pupilless eyes sometimes, others couldn’t tell very easily, if at all, that he was looking them over as he was. It had been some time since his eyes found the form of another male and he stopped before him giving a friendly if not sly grin as he shifted lightly on his paws before him.

”To whom do I owe the pleasure of being called by this day?” Istas asked trying to keep any unusual tones from his voice just yet. It had been a while since he had gotten attention, but he remembered the nips and bites he got from others who didn’t quite feel the same he would hold his tongue until he knew who it was and what this male was like, good looking as he was he wouldn’t ruin the first chance at male company he had in some time.

They never seem to catch my eye but I never wondered why
