Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Solitaire probably could be considered a quiet wolf if one were to ask, but he did try his best to still be mostly open and friendly, despite the fact that he wasn't always sure of his own voice. That did not stop him from what he wanted to do with his life, the rank he wanted and all the things a healer must be able to do for those of the pack. He was more comfortable dealing with the healing business than much else, and it probably showed when he was tending to the wounded, the way he spoke about what should be done and what plants did what, cognizant in what was going on around a wound. He was more confident in what he knew and how to use that, which only told him that he was doing what he should be with his life. That he should keep on this path for the rank of Witch and all that came with it.

He was aware that Eden was attentive to Achlys after the birth, and that was a good thing. Solitaire hoped that the alpha knew that he would also help with hunting for the not quite up to health mother if needed as well. That was a part of keeping the pack members healthy sometimes as well. It was not always about tending to a wound or sickness, but helping out in order to help health and strength return to a wolf. However, Solitaire was not going to push himself where he might not be wanted, so he merely waited until he was called for or needed. He would have to check in on Achlys again anyway soon enough, to see how the female was doing, if everything was healing well. Solitaire was aware that she would call for him if she thought anything was wrong, but it never hurt to check in anyway.

When Eden arrived, Solitaire inhaled to keep his nerves calm. The alpha didn't look closed off at all, so that was good. Yet Solitaire waited for Eden to speak to him, and when the alpha did, Solitaire nodded to him. "Yes. I think it's paying off, though. Tristan is healing well, and Frostbite's wound looks better. I'll have to check in on Achlys to ensure she's doing well still.." A pause. He didn't want to start rambling at Eden. "I called because I wanted to know what tasks I should do in order to earn the rank of Witch." He finally adds, hoping that he had shown with his actions that he was serious in this goal and willing to go the distance for it. Hoping that he had a chance, even though he was still considered new to the pack. He was willing and ready to pull his weight; eager to help in hunts and learn from Sinclair how to fight; and mostly, to heal.
