Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

This is my Fate.

He waited but of course he didn’t have to do so long. The brute turned loudly something that made Haziel’s ears twitch, he couldn’t tell if he was doing it purposefully to be sure that he could tell Haziel he moved, which was completely unnecessary, or if he was simply just not able to be silent while doing such a motion. Either way the message was sent to the blind male his head lifting slightly his blue and gold gaze resting in the general direction of his new alpha. By his tones alone it was clear Eden was pleased and perhaps a bit surprised by the fact he had done his task so quickly. He listened to him ears keeping posed and listening to his every word and breath. When it was quiet enough he thought he could even hear the beating of his heart smoothly in his chest. He always had but it was strange how even it was. Haziel removed the thought from his mind allowing it instead to set at the task at hand and gave a small nod before reporting what he had learned.

“The Queen of Spirane herself had met with me, she told me of her worry of the pack of Asteraia but was not sure what her thoughts were of Glorall as she has heard no word good or bad about our home. She asked of how I felt about the land, I told her it was home and you seemed a good leader, better than my past Alpha of Asteraia at least, but invited her to create her own opinion of you as a leader and our home rather than form one off of whispers and tales.” He said before pausing for a moment his ears once again working before continuing onward. “She said she would come end of Spring perhaps early summer and she and her ‘Blood Rider’ would meet you and speak with you. Otherwise there was no true talk of alliance until then though she didn’t seem unreceptive to the idea. I hope all of this is to your favor?”

He finished eyes still blankly set towards Eden his mind whirring he had done what the Alpha asked but now he wondered what he would do. He figured he would be pleased, he would have the chance to meet the queen himself and talk his own terms if he wanted any at all. That was up to him and Haziel hoped Eden would form some sort of bond with them. Everlyse was there after all and with pup again… He wanted to make sure that pack had allies so they didn’t run into any trouble. Heaven knew that woman had enough trouble for a life time.

To see with eyes unclouded by hate.
Haziel.
