Had he any idea that Renai wasn't feeling good, Riot would have tried to take a different route in finding things out. But alas, he had not known that birth had been difficut for her when he had called, had not paused to think about the fact that she would be a new mother now. He should have but he would chide himself for it later when he knew. Right now he wanted to earn his rank, wanted to ignore the feeling in his gut about the other trail he would eventually follow. It made a mess of thing in his mind.

The bark was heard and he smiled. Renai had good advice, and Riot had taken it. He was finally feeling good about where he had found himself, that he now had a home. It almost felt strange, too, but all had lined up the right way for all of this. He felt that this was indeed where he belonged now. He would continue to strive for more, would reach higher when he could and do the best of his ability to always be worth more than his parents had thought he was.

When Riot saw Renai, the look about her, he felt concern stirring throughout himself. Was she okay? He heard her words and gave her a bit of a worried expression. "Are you alright? Had I known you weren't feeling your best I wouldn't have called you. I apologize for that." He said quietly, frowning a little. Should he ask her? Yet she had come all this way. "I'd called you because I know you have an.. interesting assortment of wolves in Asteraia. My new task is to find out about wolves attacking in the freelands, and what Tobias looks like, and if you know the name of the white female with the red on the side of her face that lives in Asteraia, green eyes... If Jaidah has ever attacked anyone randomly, or that male that bit me.. he's white with a dark stripe from muzzle to tail, I think. Pretty big stripe over his back.. has some red in it, green eyes.." If she could help, that would be good, if she couldn't.. he would understand.
