Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

Moving so fast I’m forgetting my purpose

She had been sleeping in her den, getting her beauty sleep, when a call had aroused her. Shae, the fae who had sworn never to join a pack, had finally succumbed to the lupine instinct to belong somewhere and had joined Cold Summers. It would not be a permanent relationship, for she would stay only as long as it continued to benefit her, but for now, she was happy. Happy. Such an emotion was something that rarely graced her with its presence without also being accompanied by others. Stress about her next move. Fear of her father's anger. Loneliness. But here, in this place, she was plagued by none of these.

She had all of her moves for the foreseeable future planned out - She had raised and gained the loyalty of three pups and had strategically placed them in different packs to finally expand her spy network to Blossom Forest. Now she had allies within Aurora Borealis with Tarly who was adopted by the Beta femme, Moondown Shadows with Accalia who was adopted by the Alpha, and Bright Moon with Nzingha who was taken in by her own uncle. To expand it more, that very uncle had a sibling within Abendrot. Yes, her tendrils were swirling, and she felt almost safe here.

As for her father, he was sated for now. She had fed him news of Akuji and Harries, leaving out the more.... disturbing bits. Harries' crazied protege gone wild. Zorion had been taken care of, so there was no need to cause the King "worry". Worry was only another word for "anger" where it came to their father. She had snuck away one of Akuji's pups to their father for indoctrination. Yes, there was nothing to fear from Father for now.

Perhaps more surprising still was the lack of loneliness. Here she had entertainment - with a pack where maned wolves were the predominant breed, it was full of eye candy. She was not like her brother Akuji, who could not fine beauty in other breeds, but she definitely preferred her own than others. Caspian had caught her eye and she reveled in watching his movements, watching the way his muscles rippled beneath his pelt...

But for now, the only one she was concerning herself with was her brother - he who called her. Slowly, she rose, yawning as she stretched backward, her weight going first to her haunches and then to her front. It was at a leisurely pace that she traveled toward him - if he was going to wake her from a siesta, he could have patience. She was surprised to follow his trail, however, up the side of Rainbow Cliff. It was with care that she made the ascent, not wanting to fall to her death, but still she looked graceful. Shae maneuvered the trail with ease, and once she reached the peak, she flicked her tail into his face. "You woke me, brother. What is it that you want? I was having a wonderful dream of being surrounded by titans attending to my every need. Were you jealous of them, my love?" Her nares pressed into his nape as she leaned into him.
