Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Sometimes all it took was the will to live. Sometimes, but not all the time. The deer had not had the chance to summon up the great will to live for it had been trapped within the jaws of Covet in no time. There was no coming back from such wounds no matter how much the spirit desired it. Veilia knew nothing of such specific cravings that Covet seems to possess. Life is pretty simple for her. Travel, eat, survive, and continue on. Often she would immerse herself in the culture of those around her to find out new things, interested in the differences in the world around her. The way some packs cherished their elders with a sort of reverent quality yet another might cull their aged patrons as a way of keeping the pack fresh. Wolves of every variety held different beliefs and who was she to judge what they thought? She was a watcher of the world, sinking things into her brain and pondering them.

It is quite clear that the male does not wish to pass along his name. It wasn't something she would force him to do; however, it also did make her feel more that he played some sort of game. As if his name was worth it's weight in gold or perhaps he had some reputation around here that he had to hide from those who didn't know? She watches him carefully, trying to decide what it was that made Covet tick knowing that in one meeting there was no way she would find such a source.

Her own head tilts in a sort of nod at his words, her lips twisting into a curve of a smile that is more sardonic than anything, eyes narrowed at his words or more like the lack of. Nutrients indeed, she thinks, but perhaps that was why he was such a healthy specimen. "Of course," she supplies smoothly. "You may keep the rest of the meat for I have places I must seek out. Perhaps we shall meet again, stranger, perhaps not. Your hunting skills are very fine indeed."

She would not press him, standing and stretching in a lazy manner of one who had just consumed too much. She felt thoroughly satisfied, belly taut or not.
