Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

And I plan to be...

Her words shocked him, silencing the questions for a bit, setting the wheels spinning in his head. Upon her face she maintained the frightened facade, her deep pools staring up at the brute that towered over her, her glasses wetting ever so slightly so that it looked like she was about to cry. It served him right, since he had rushed up upon her. Had she been any other pup, she would be frightened, but instead she stubborn and resilient... but there was no reason for the brute to know that. It would be good for him to believe her weak... it would be easier to manipulate him. Well I suppose in a way I will be both. I am your uncle, therefore I cannot actually be your father, but I will treat you as my own, we are family. I'll raise you here in Bright Moon just as I would my own pups, but calling me father may make things more confusing. He laughed, a rich chuckle rumbling from his chest, and Nzingha allowed her tiny kissers to curl up, her lids blinking rapidly to clear the tears from her eyes.

Glancing down, her small paw traced a line in the soft soil beneath her. "Well I suppose that makes sense. I thought perhaps you were a demon returned from the grave since my father was a monster that was killed dead. I'm glad you aren't my daddy." Her words no doubt would shock the brute, for few pups had a solid understanding of death... few pups were always told the whole truth. But Shae... well Shae had not sheltered them from anything. And while it would be good to have him believe that she needed him... her nature refused to allow him to think her stupid. Her mind was brilliant... and that was the one thing she would not hide.

So what is it that you have been called in Moondown Shadows? Did you like your time there? You do not need to be afraid here, I will keep you just as safe as you were there, I promise. Nzingha nodded and slowly walked toward him, leaning against his limb, nuzzling against it ever so slightly. "Shae named me Nzingha... and I guess I liked it alright. Shae always treated us right and kept us warm and soft. I was sad to be separated from my siblings and I miss them though. But Shae explained to us real nice like that we would always be family even when we were separate from each other... and told me to tell you Accalia is staying with Mr. Striker sir to seal the alliance between your two packs and that you had no right to be angry with her because she did bring you to Lady and Nymeria and that it was your own darn fault for losing track of Nymeria, and thus she only trusted you enough to care for one of the three of us." Okay, so perhaps Shae had not told her to say all of that, and perhaps Nzingha was throwing her 'mother' who she loved under the bus a bit... but this was her slight version of revenge. On the upside, it would make Summer cherish her all the more since he would not have ready access to care for either of her other two siblings.

"So Mr. Summer sir if I'm not to call you Daddy, what am I suppose to call you? And where are we? " Her big eyes peered up at him, inquisitive and trusting as she leaned into him, her head tilting ever so slightly as she nuzzled his limb.

OOC- Sorry this took so long :( Totally forgot about it! I thought I had written this up a while ago but apparently not. Good thing I had 6 hours of air time to get posts done!
