After healing from the fight, and he had been fine the last few days now, Covet began roaming more and more from Diveen. He did what he had to with patroling the borders of his new home, but he did not think there would be much of a problem there. There was a lull over Diveen right now, and he had accepted that fact. He had wanted a change, but it wasn't as if he felt all that suited for the position. Of course he couldn't really get anyone else to do it if it was his plan, his wishes, so he had done it himself. Maybe just having done so would be the change had had wanted, but that would remain to be seen. If it came to him needing to give someone else the place for Diveen to thrive, then he might just do that eventually. Ruling was not as big of a deal to him as it was to others. He supposed he got that from his father's side.
He had been moving through the neutral lands in some ill attempt to recruit for his new home when he caught the scent. Family, littermate. It caused him to pause, then he was moving again, this time with more speed in his step. Of course it was a slithering type of grace that he used for this, and he spots the chase out of the corner of an inky eye and follows. He doesn't follow in any way as a means to join the hunt, but merely to keep the male in sight. He vaguely remembers the looks of his brother, though he had been seperated from him quite early on, and now there was a missing ear from his brother's head. Covet had no way of knowing how this reunion would go, but he wasn't worried about finding out. He could hold his own, which should be now quite obvious with his pack win, and mostly wanted to draw family closer.
