Sleep. Rest. That was what she needed right now. Earlier that day she had fought along the outskirts of Asteraia. She had left the bloodstained field victorious and with her victory assured she wanted to get to Tobias as quickly as possible. He was one of the reasons why she had taken the pack for herself. Yet his hidden lair was much too far and with the storm fiercely blowing in she thought it best she found some shelter before the storm hits. While she walked she kept her movements slow as her neck lowered into a position she felt more comfortable in, unloading some of the strain she felt on her left side. Her teeth would clench tightly as she felt the raging storm winds rake harshly through her thick fur causing the wound on her neck to string with discomfort. At first the rain that fell was cool, gentle, the rain pattering down her obsidian hide in a most pleasing manner. Those bright sapphire eyes narrowed when she caught sight of a few rocks that seemed to create a sort of opening to a nice sizeable den. As she approached her newly found shelter her head would peek through the dark entrance as she inhaled deeply catching faint orders of fox or bear, but their faint scents assured her that neither creature had dwelled within the cave for quite some time.

Easily she would walk herself into the cave and settler herself down near the right side of the cave wall. Her ebony form would curl into herself, as she provided more warmth as she would wait out the storm. As lightning raced across the dark sky the terrible roar of the thunder forced the dark clouds to break as the once gentle rain turned harsh as it slammed into the ground. A soft sigh of content and relief flowed from the beast as she placed her head over her paws. While the rain continued to pour non-stop she felt that urge to shut her eyes and fall asleep. One ear pointed upwards in attention ready to head the sound of the rain cease before she continued with her journey. As she slept she would hear the soft sucking sounds of wet paws being grabbed by the mud as a creature dredged in it. It was the stopping of the sucking sound did the she-wolf awake from her slumber, but she remained quiet. With the darkness of the storm and with her ebony pelt blending in with the cave walls it was no surprise that the white wolf would come into the cave and not know someone else was here. Tick Tock remained still as the she-wolf laid right on top of her, the girl’s extremely cold body highly unpleasing and unwanted. Yet once more she remained still and silent as she felt the girl’s body begin to relax and rest. It was when she was sure the girl was at her most lax did her bright eyes open. Slowly she raised her head to find the white she-wolf laying nearly right on top of her, perhaps she had not realized through her frozen form that she was lying nearly on top of a living – breathing creature. Her jaws would a part and she whispered softly.

“You don’t check dens before you go in them, do you?”

It would be no surprise should the other white wolf be surprised. That what she assumed was an empty cave already had an inhabitant. Her scarred face would turn directly towards the girl as those cold deep azure eyes, flecked with violet, would look upon the girl with a silent stare. Once more that same soft whisper would come out, the sound of tone was more of annoyance than anger.

“You can stay here…but do you mind giving me some room?”
