The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

male | seven | tied to striker | cobryn x enigma

He did not know the story of this wolf and he couldn't find it within himself to care. All he knew was he wanted the brindled male to suffer and die for the crimes committed against his father, and now for hurting Tristan and himself. Yes, Solitaire deserved the wounds for attacking in some way, he supposed, but this was justice. This was getting his vengence that was deserved for father. He couldn't get past that fact, couldn't make the need for this to end to go away. Solitaire had attacked with a blind rage and he wasn't going to stop, he was going to take this and see it done. He would not be less than he should be in this, he would not be seen as weak, not when it came to this, not when he felt the need to do this so deeply.

The leg breaks under his jaws and he relishes this fact, the feeling of gaining this. Of course the other leg was kicking at him, and he knew the constant movement against his chest and chin would cause bruises, but this was worth it. He did not want Tristan to be wounded, because that hadn't actually occurred to him when he had attacked. And seeing the way that the brindled male was kicking at Tristan, then biting at his brother, Solitaire went to grab at one of the front legs to distract the brindled male, though by that time it looked as if Tristan had gotten a hold of the brindled male's head. The kicking had stopped, as did the struggling in those moments, and Solitaire knew the end for this one was near.

He heard the words as they were spoken but he believed none of it and snarled at the sound, ears pinned back. The brindled one was dead now, or too close to it to think otherwise, and Solitaire stepped back from the body to try and gather and sort his thoughts. It had all happened so fast, and now it seemed more unbelievable to him that it had. His attention was then on Tristan and what wounds his brother had sustained, wanting to heal him and knowing his supplies were not here with him. They were.. not far, though, were they? It was hard for him to think right now, and he felt like he was in a daze. "Are you injured much, Tristan?" He had to ask, wondering if he was seeing correctly after this, wondering what his brother was thinking of the situation at all.
