When solid ground grows soft with emerald moss and rivulets of black mud, and coffee-colored water pours slowly around the trunks of densely carpeted trees, this marks the beginning of Laod Mor: the swamp of Blossom Forest. Time itself seems to slow to a soporific crawl . . . the humid jungle air grows stagnant, thick with the scent of rich flooded earth and an abundance of green things that can be found nowhere else—except perhaps Caidir Olc. In some areas of the swamp, water rises so high the only way to cross it is to crawl across fallen logs or massive roots arching from their liquid beds; in other places a wolf might wade easily through the mire—or find a fortunate stretch of mostly dry earth. Pieces of the great river, Glaesfaet Sceawere, also slice through from time to time: small falls that feed into surprisingly clear pools, only to terminate into tar-like pits. Of course, Laod Mor’s beauty shines brightest at night. Here, fireflies gather at all times of the year . . . suffusing the shadowy place with millions of twinkling lights.

Those looking to hunt here of course find a myriad of water prey, including caiman, turtles, fish, crayfish, otters, and toads.

Her iner Demon had been cackling as she found herself before this brute. Her victim. He believed her every word. Outside she was finding herself smiling and acting a sickeningly nice. Her brain was telling her what to do but her stone cold heart was telling her to stop and go back to her normal act. The act of pure innocence was making her sick but it was to late to quit now.

She felt a shiver go down her spine as he touched her chin. She smiled at him faintly as her dark eyes began to return to their normal amount of water. The tearing in her eyes had stopped. “You do not talk too much – I always love when people talk. It is better than silence, don’t you think?” For a second before he spoke she began to think she had blown her cover.

“I am sorry that your sister abandons you – there is no need for that. Family… well family means everything to me. I have a few children of my own – no siblings though. My children are all grown though, so once more I am alone – my love life is nothing to speak of really. Right now my main focus is strengthening my pack – in truth they are my family too. We all take care of each other. Did… did I mention I’m the Alpha of Aurora Borealis?”

She looked at him, a shocked face coming over her. She bowed her head in respect though she knew deep down she hadn't ment it. She had belonged to Malignant Felicity. That was her home now. "My deepest apologies... I didn't expect to be talking to a wolf of such great power..." She felt like she'd lose her lunch. The simple respectful jester was because she didn't belong to his pack. She needed to lie. Malignant was obviosly a dark place and he may become suspicious. She needed to think fast. "I'm from Spring Grounds. They have yet to rank me." She said softly ands she raised her head.

”Tell me how you're gonna go, how you're gonna go on and make him fall in love with you.”
