Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

We laughed at fate and mourned her;

Summer was not her favorite season. It was far too hot and far too sticky for her own taste. It was during this season she tended to stay out of the sunlight. She would slumber within the darkness and coolness of the Grotto when the sun was out. Preferring to come out when it was cooler out finding the moonlight much more suitable for her…complexion. Of course, that was a joke, because there was absolutely nothing about her that one would consider beautiful or even striking. She wasn’t pleased with being so out in the open, but she was searching, and for what would remain only known to her. She wasn’t keen on the idea of leaving her new home so soon, but it was necessary and she was sure that the red and white she-wolf and Tobias would be fine at protecting their haven. Each long obsidian stilt moved her frame easily over the short grasses of the field. Her long trek caused her to grow a bit thirsty and with the Ruieze Lake nearby she turned her frame slightly to the left in that direction.

Her movement was fluid as she walked calmly towards the large water source. Sapphire eyes narrowed at the dark grey object that seemed to be resting within the lake. Her half torn ear was pointed forward in a curious manner as she continued to her destination. Each footfall was silent upon the top smooth terrain. She would settle herself along the banks opposite to him. Her neck would lean to the right slightly to alleviate the tinges of pain from her healing wound that settled along the lower left side of her neck. The superficial bite mark that settled behind her left shoulder was nearly gone. All throughout her frame were various old scars that told tales, mostly tales that associated her with numerous scuffles. For a moment she would dip her head and lap up some of the water her eyes not once leaving his. The way he submerged himself in the water almost appeared as if he were cooling off, that or he liked to pretend his was a fish. Lifting her skull a light pink tongue lapped up some of the excess water that hung from her muzzle. There was an air of dominance that clung to her and yet she didn’t carry herself in such an arrogant manner, she appeared relax and yet completely alert. Cold words would slip out of her jaw as she spoke coolly.

“Not a fan of the heat, are you?”
