As the domineering she-wolf approached her newly marked border she was curious as to what a yearling was doing. The scent of him was obviously Diveen, but he did not carry Isola’s scent. In fact it was a completely different odor one she did not recognize. It was puzzling as to how Isola was not the reigning Queen and it troubled her slightly. Her goal to forge an alliance with the pack that had tended to her wounds seemed like a lost cause. She did not forget the kindness they showed. They were first pack, ever, that had showed she was not a Monster nor was she something to be chased away. Heyel had not wanted her presence, but it was because she helped save his hide. Such a prideful creature he was and she made a mental note to find him. Though now she would have to see the potential of an alliance with Diveen thwarted, especially since Jaidah and her brood went there for sanctuary. This just added on to a few concerns she had with the haven she had provided for herself, Tobias, and the other wolves that were seen as wrong. Those thoughts were shrugged off when she noticed how Hyrule stared at her. It was not shocking that there were those that could do nothing, but stare at her. She was well aware with how she looked and not once did she ever care for it. Quietly she stood before the white wolf noticing the head nod and appeared quite indifferent when he introduced himself. Seeing his crimson touched ears press backwards, sapphire eyes would blink once as she waited for him to continue not seeing the need to give him her name. His demand for her to walk allowed one eyebrow to rise for a moment before she got up and walked, her long limbs easily catching her up to him. Cool words slipped gently from her as she peered down at the odd yearling.
“Surprised that it was me or that she fell?”
It was not surprising that she wouldn’t be seen as something glorious. She did not look like the heroic type. She was not pristine. She was not perfect. She was imperfect, broken, and entirely not special. Yet these were things she did not dwell on nor worry about – let the others see what they wish to see. Looks can be so deceiving. Easily she walked quietly beside Hyrule, her paws staying within her border and his staying on the outer lands. In a way he reminded her of the only creature that bore her blood. Raven was like him in a way. Not caring for his age and acting as if he were already an adult. She knew her daughter acted in such a way, because she was left all her own. Tick Tock was curious to know why Hyrule did not act like those within his age, what drove him to do such a thing. Her mauled face remains indifferent as he grins up at her, not seeing the need to appease to his facial interactions. Her half-ear twitched again as he began to dribble on as to why he was here. Her ebony plume would swift side to side in a lackadaisical manner. His words didn’t draw any comfort at all. One sapphire eye rolled to look down on him as she calmly answered him tearing down his perceived friendly notions.
“A member of Diveen is willing to attend to my wounds…and you are not good at it? Not to mention that Jaidah, her brood, and those that still stand with her went to Diveen as soon as I came. You can see why I am wondering if there are more sinister intentions.”
After that she would grow silent as she continued to walk along beside him. Really one couldn’t blame her for assuming his intentions. It all added up really. She out of any other Alpha needed to remain alert. His intentions made have been good or bad, but like all intentions there was some sort of hidden agenda. While they walked se could feel the wound on her neck begin to throb, the she-wolf annoyed with it, not wanting to appear weak among her own kind. She would stop for a moment and stare down the yearling for a moment. That he would want a personal alliance clearly spoke he had some sort of goal and if it wasn’t for Diveen then perhaps it wouldn’t necessary be a bad thing. Tilting her head to the right was her way of signaling the young wolf to enter though not without her gentle voice slithering into his ear and laying down a subtle threat that should remain in the forefront of his mind.
“I guess if I die you will have to deal with Tobias.”
So, really, he better not mess up. No pressure.
