Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I have heard the rumors of the other packs around us, all switching hands and trying out new leaders. The very thought frightens me and makes me want to seek out Eden and make sure he's alright. I know I'll hear it if someone comes to challenge but what can I do about it? I have to trust in Eden's ability to hold off challengers. I have to believe in him. I guess that means I need to get to know him better. At least I know he'll have an amazing healer to watch over him when he gets back from a challenge whenever it may come. I know that there's nowhere else I want to live and I'm glad Solitaire came back to live here with me. I shrug off his comments about my part in the hunt.

"All I did was hold its flipper, Sol. It was nothing, really." He grins when I return the joke about the mouse peeing on my tail. I lead him into the water and I lunge at him, splashing him before I take off up the beach. I turn to lunge at him again, surprised at my own success. I tug at his ears playfully and lick at his face, anything to overwhelm him as I jump off with a bark of laughter. He manages to slobber on me quite a lot, almost soaking my fur as I jump away and shake off. "Ew, cooties!" I yell with a grin. I take off again, only to grunt as he leaps at me and tackles me to the ground. As I feel his nose on the more sensitive areas of skin, I squirm and kick at him, laughing and shrieking. "No, stop it, stop it!" I yell in protest.
