Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

And I plan to be...

Sounds perfect, Nzingha. He guffawed, clearly amused by the nickname she came up with for him. She smiled affectionately up at her 'unther', giggling herself. Inside she was disgusted with herself. While the name itself was clever, it was childish and silly. It was a term a child would come up with... well she was a child. But she was an old soul and was wise beyond her years. She would manipulate this brute as needed in order to gain her trust. Now, Nzingha was not naive - she was sure that as time moved on, she would gain true feelings for Summer, as he would be her family and her entire world until a brute stole her heart... but that did not mean that she would not use him.

After she accepted the tour that Summer offered of her new home - the packlands that would soon become her base for all of her plotting - he rose from the earth and Nzingha followed suit, pressing against him as he strode. Exactly, let's get going shall we? So, do you like to go swimming? Slowly, she shook her head. Though Shae had shown them streams and lakes, she had never brought them swimming. Shae was not the kind to play fun and games, even with pups. "No... I don't know how to swim. I've... never actually been in the water." Her vocals were soft and she glanced away, embarrassed to having to admit one of her weaknesses. In truth, the idea of water scared her slightly. She enjoyed partaking in drinking from it, but had no desire to go in too deep lest she drown.

Briefly, she was distracted and silent until the brute spoke again. This is one of the land marks in Bright Moon. The stream is always running here, so it is the best place to get fresh water. It’s even deep enough that it doesn’t freeze in the winter. Nzingha nodded, taking the opportunity to step forward, her maw lowering enough for her tongue to lap up a drink from the stream. it was cool and clean, and smoothly trickled down the back of her throat until she no longer felt parched... and then she quickly moved away from it. "Good to know... what else is there here?"
