Riley has pretty much summed this up well. You are a valued member, staff or not. Your input, characters, writing and just who you are, are what make you liked - not a word next to your name on the members list.

You are not being punished for having emotions. Nobody ever will be punished for that, or for having opinions. However, when those emotions begin to overflow into things, sometimes it�s best to take a step back and take a look at things from a new perspective. When your emotions begin to impact others, it can cause unneeded pain. It�s a cycle, and sometimes, it�s hard to break that cycle. So no, you aren�t being punished for having feelings. You�re just being reminded that there are things out there other than names like Staff, or judging fights. Nobody forgets or doesn�t appreciate the massive impact and help you have provided for LC, and nobody ever will.

I would hate to see you leave over something like this. Instead, I�d love to see you flourish and thrive. Embrace your characters and your stories without the stress that comes with monitoring and making decisions. Enjoy the game for what it is and look forward to your future, your character�s future and the site�s future. You are valued, and nobody wants to see you leave. We just want to see you love what you do again.

One thing this site and its players has always excelled in is our ability to move on and I�d love to think we can all still do that. There is no maliciousness within this decision.

However, I would appreciate it if people did not �take sides� or begin to form drastic opinions on the decision without knowing the full scope of what has transpired. We did not make this decision on a whim, or solely because of one person�s hurt feelings. Please consider this is not a personal action.

There is the option to discuss these things further and perhaps, when the situation is not so tender.
