Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

now that i am coming down; won't you be my solid ground?

She stumbled around after the onset of memory loss confusion, trying to grasp what memories were starting to filter back in. There was no memory of leaving Spirane or anything that had led up to this wandering near the riverside, but she was half drenched with mud over one hip and shoulder; looking bewildered at the entire matter. Sway knew in the back of her mind that this sort of thing tended to happen, but most usual thoughts were fuzzy at the moment. She remembered the basics, and even enough to know where she was in a vague way. Where she had been before the blackout.

Everything else came in bits and pieces, blurry and distant to her as if she'd only seen it all play out rather than lived it. Some of the experiences felt so far away from her, and she was still suffering some of the wary side-effects of being not quite herself. For now this was something she remembered, though it could not be certain that she would be able to really drag even these moments back to the surface when all else cleared up. It was a terrible curse to have, though she did not think it was happening quite as often as it used to. Or perhaps it was and she wasn't aware or informed of it.

Perhaps Sway was able to leave Spirane when it felt like something was off, different. That could be how it worked, though it wasn't always that there was any indication of an onset. This was such a strange and unsettling feeling to her, but at least she was returning back to normal. She would simply have to wait out the lingering dizziness and then wash off before she went back to her home. With all the newcomers there, and it having been such a large pack before that even, she might not be missed at all. She liked the idea of being close to remaining family, but she didn't get to interact with them, hadn't even met the healers Daenerys spoke of when she had arrived...
