RAIN rips from the clouds above, streaking down to the earth and drenching the world in a depressing saturation. the skies, they weep for the world as it is known has been changed, shifted. it is within the underbelly of a hillside that a creature of depth resides. the stench of death and wet murk flood from the overly darkened area. though it is midday, the sky is darker than it should be. the storms above causing a disturbing shade to cover a majority of the land. the sun is snuffed out, unable to fight against those plumes that choke. he dwells in the shadows, lurking in the lands as he normally does and finds himself growing angrier with each minute that passes. disappointment does not even begin to cover the thoughts that flood his twisted mind. he need stop kill something, anything; maybe even her . his very own blood for she is the cause of his destruction.
LIGHTENING streaks across the dark skies, illuminating the dark area he dwells in and highlighting those gleaming pearls along with his cold crystals. then, as suddenly as the light roars its roar, it quiets and Malikye is consumed in darkness. his chest heaves with each painfully patient breath. how lucky his failure of a child is for taking cowardice shelter within the confinements of Diveen. so unholy is the demon that he cannot bear to step foot in that area. she is safe from her father’s wrath, for now she is safe. thunder rolls within the darkened skies and his ears perk, scarred face lifting as if broken from a dream. his own thunderous growl is released from the depths of his muscular frame and he steps out from his own shelter. talons dig into the soggy earth easily tearing through the ground. rumors had spread of a monster of a female, the one who had challenged and won. he wanted to lay his eyes upon such a dame for to him, females were weak, pathetic, useless for everything except to bear his offspring. even then, he was picky, for it was rare that he would allow his seed to be placed in something weak for he of all knew that his children have killed more than he in mere births.
NOSE lifts into the air though her scent is foreign to him. this trick was futile for he had no idea what beast he was looking for. irritably, he snarls, ears flattening upon his thick skull as he snaps at the rain that pelts down upon his mass. within the few moments that he had been out in the open, he has become drenched. the cold of the rain threatens to cause a reaction from him but he ignores those invisibly wet fingers as they weave through his hairs. the demon pauses, nose wrinkling in disgust before he lowers it to the earth. that scent is vaguely familiar, so slight that a normal beast may have missed it. Malikye is not normal, the cannibalistic is a keen tracker and he inhales deeply, eyes rolling in the back of his head as he lifts her scent from the earth and places it into his system. the girl from the rocks. how fleeting their meeting had been, although dangerous for to his surprise she had dared to stand up against him. he had roared, flared himself before her and she had done the same, standing before him like a force to be reckoned with. he remembers her dark mass now. a sickening smile crosses his deadly features. if he had simply killed her in the grotto when he had the chance, his pathetic daughter might have kept her title. yet this was no the case, he had walked away in his annoyance, not because she had won but because he had just feasted and felt no need to fight such a dame over something as pathetic as space. in his twisted thoughts, he had spared her for he refused to fight and feast upon female flesh. not because he was a gentleman but because he felt it was pointless. they rarely ever put up a fight with him. although this femme had dared to front with him, to Malikye she was simply just like the rest of them; weak. and he had no time for weakness.
THE beast sneers, moving forward like a tidal wave through the rain. his bulk moves up, against the slight winds that try to tear at his frame and he finds himself atop a hill, looking across such a plain, barren landscape. perhaps his daughter had made a better choice in finding a place to rule. he personally cared not for the rulings of packs, the responsibility of taking care of others that he would rather feast upon seemed pointless to him. instead, he would find himself roaming the earth as if it bowed to him. he had no thoughts towards pack rules or pack lines or pack anything. he was a rogue, his own ruler and bowed for no one. Andrew was the only other who could make him bend and that was more of a partnership for they were alike and had a common goal. besides, he fancied toying with Lilith in those days. now though, none could gain such a beast on their side for he was his own killer, chained to his own mere thoughts. no, this beast cannot be tamed but he can be won over, with the right tidings.
LIGHTENING flashes once more, shining down upon the great charcoal murderer and allowing for her to see him above. he would wait...her scent was fresh.
