It was a sudden thing, to be looking forward to the Spring without having done anything that would give much reason for it. Except agree to be a part of a family deal, that is. Which was a big step for him in any case, but he would do just about anything for family, and at this point, he didn't feel like it was that much of upset to do what was asked of him. Ambrosia was a kind, sweet type of wolf from what he had seen of her, and he didn't think it was far fetched that they could eventually become good friends when all was said and done. Plus, puppies!
Now Solitaire had been mildly interested in the Spring for the fact that Glorall would end up with more litters, maybe, but he hadn't been asked to watch over any of them last Spring, so wasn't sure if that would be the case again this time. How fun would it be to be able to teach young ones about plants and healing stuff? Solitaire couldn't wait to do that, which reminded him that he told Ambrosia that he would be happy to teach any of the Diveen wolves the arts of healing if any of them wanted to know. There was so much going on in his mind, and he was feeling good about it. At first he had been hesitant and nervous and sort of dreading it, but now? Not so much.
A part of him wondered what Eden might think of all of this, but there was really nothing out of sorts with doing it. Not unless Eden decided that Diveen was an enemy of Glorall, and Solitaire did not see a reason for that to happen. That, and he would keep up with his healing duties as best as he could as he had been doing, ready to assist anyone who needed it here. Even the usual patrolling, which he still did a good amount of time when all other things were done. The thoughts went from one thing to the next as he finished fixing up the storage den, and he stepped back from it and glanced around, moving off to do some more border patrol now that things looked set.
