It is so good to be home. I still believe that our home is not the land beneath our paws but it doesn't make it any less joyful to return to the ravines and plateaus we've come to know and love. Guardian beat all of us back but that's okay. He was to be at Achilles' side from the beginning, his royal guard. They decided this when they were but pups and have been best friends ever since. I am proud of my son to have made such close relationships with some of his family. It's always good to have allies. Guardian stands proudly at his place beside Achilles and it seems natural to see him there as it always has been. Achilles himself is standing on the rock that Heyel used to sunbathe on. Somehow I know he did this on purpose. He always idolized the Angel King. He looked up to him and wanted to be just like him. While I know Heyel was anything but perfect, I guess there are worse role models for one's son.

Isola walks at my side every step of the way. I lean into her, though not as much for physical support this time but more to support her because I know it will be hard on her. I know she's as happy as I am to be home but at the same time Heyel is not returning with us and I know that must break her heart all over again. When she sees the rock Achilles stands on, I can almost see the tears spring to her eyes and I lean into her again, reminding her that she is not alone. I will always be here with her. I know she's trying to be strong, trying to be the queen today, not the broken daughter. I respect that about her and I know she's already broken down so much. I'd be surprised if there are any tears left. I look up to my son with a certain sense of pride only a father will know. At Isola's words, I nod in agreement and smile. "We'l be here through thick and thin. You will be a great king, perhaps the best Moladian has ever seen." Okay so maybe I'm just adding to his already full ego right now but he's my son. I'm allowed to dote, aren't I?

When I see Vega, my heart goes out to her. Like Isola, she keeps her heart on her sleeve and you can read every emotion from her heart in her eyes. She is worried about her children. Achilles told me in Spirane that they were missing, though Paravana wasn't seen before they even left Diveen. Vega is worried about them though Achilles has faith that they'll return when it's time. He has been out searching for them to no avail and I know he'll be getting help from the pack in this matter too if he continues to come up blank. He know they're old enough not to force to come home as it were but he just wants to know that they're happy and safe wherever they are, not captive or forced into anything. The world has suddenly grown dangerous for Angels now thanks to wolves like Covet spreading his misled hatred. I worry for them also and as Vega steps to her mate, she can only offer small smiles here and there. I offer her one of my own, my eyes soft, wanting her to know without saying that if she ever needs anything, we're here. She has always been counted as one of our own.

Calliel has been a godsend for Isola and I. Through Isola's darkest times over Heyel's death, Calliel never left her side. She helped care for me while I was healing form the fight and she stayed close to us while in Spirane. She has been a daughter anyone would be proud of and i'm glad that she returned with us to Diveen. I know her and her brother used to have jealousy issues as children. She wanted to be heir and she talked about taking his crown from him. Of course now she seems to be more supportive. Maybe things have changed? She moves her head to Achilles before standing at Isola's side and I beam at her, reaching out to nuzzle her neck affectionately. There is so much gratitude in my eyes, so much she has done for us. When I see Azrael, my lips twitch a little, never sure how he's going to react to anything. I know we never truly got along and maybe I should have done something. I don't know, reach out to him more? Spar with him to let him take his anger out on me? I don't know, something.

He always seemed so angry about Isola getting the throne and then about Heyel supporting her. Maybe there was really just some father/son issues going on there? I don't know. I guess I never really thought it was any of my business. Plus he never liked me even from the days Isola and I were courting. He said I wasn't pretty enough to be with his sister. Didn't keep my fur clean enough. I guess he got his hair care tips from his father. But today he has come to show his support for our son and I'm glad for this. Even as irritable as he can about everything, he's still a good warrior and a good example of the good things Angels can do. I've seen him jump in to protect innocent wolves in the free lands. I've see him do so many good things for the wolves of Diveen. I don't know how he feels about his daughter and what happened between her and Covet but that's their own business. I'm sure she has her reasons for what she did. I don't have it in me to hate her for wanting to rule Diveen. I see Andromeda with him and I smile. She has always been so kind hearted like Isola. It'll be good to have them back in Diveen.

He nods his head to Isola and I and I make sure to return the gesture. I can see the pride glittering in his eyes when he sees Guardian at Achilles' side and I smile wider. My lips twitch again when he only greets my son with a nod and his name, almost the same as I'd come to expect of his greetings for me. Does his dislike really extend to his own nephew? A new dark figure with a red chest has my heart tightening and when I smell her perfume, I know it instantly. Solara, my first daughter of our second litter after Achilles. I beam at her, barking in greeting and wagging my tail. I know she will see my scars from the fight with Covet but I don't want pity. My chest wound has mostly healed and my leg still aches sometimes but it's not so bad. My stomach has been healing well and I don't even feel it anymore. At her words of Achilles, I flick my ears uncertainly but offer a smile nonetheless. I don't detect any sarcasm but I'm not used to his siblings sounding joyful about his success. He never has really had a lot of fans in the family department besides Guardian. Perhaps she's genuine though? In case, he should be honored to have her support.

When she looks at us though, I don't hesitate to step up to her and throw my neck around her in a tight embrace. "It's good to see you, Solara. You have been greatly missed. Are you here to stay?" There is hope brimming in my eyes when I step back to give her room, licking her cheek as I pull back. Another wolf arrives and this one, I don't know. She looks quite lost though and when I see her eyes, I scowl in concern. She must be blind with eyes like that. She looks so sad, like someone else should be here. I watch as she shows submission and asks to contribute, my gaze lifting automatically to my son, awaiting his decision for now, it is his to make. I have no doubt he'll make the right decision. I smile at her even though I know she can't see me. When a white wolf with violet eyes approaches, at first I think my eyes are decieving me. It's like seeing Heyel back in the flesh, back before I would have known him of course. I blink a few times, my breath catching but I almost don't want Isola to look because I don't want her to be tricked as I was.

I know as he steps closer that he's no Heyel but his scent and eyes would be enough to show me he's definitely related any day. I don't know if I've ever met this descendent before but he's the spitting image of the late King. I nod in his direction with a smile, my eyes showing curiosity but he seems content to nod to Achilles and stand at the side for now, silent and watchful. He even acts so much like Heyel that it almost hurts. I try to refocus on the meeting but I can't help the way my eyes trail over to him every so often. It's like Heyel is watching over us all over again.
