Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I can't help but think Solitaire would be a wonderful father. Maybe I'm just biased because I'm his brother but with his kind caring nature, he's got to be in the top picks for guys to knock you up. Plus with his new healing capabilities, he'll be great at fixing up boo boos! I just keep wondering what the female must be like that would be the mother. Is she pretty? She's got to be pretty. Solitaire's quite charming and it's not like he's ugly. Our mother was beautiful, after all. I can't really talk for my father since I never met him but if he got a looker like mom, he had to be quite the looker himself. Solitaire seems nervous though and I don't blame him. I'd be scared to death to meet someone and then have children with them. We never really talked about girls before now. Is that something brothers are supposed to talk about? I guess it is but I wouldn't know. Solitaire is the first brother I'd had around to talk to.

It's not like I've met any girls worth talking about anyway. I met Aithne and she taught me how to defend myself. But other than that, it's just been acquaintances and such. Oh and Sway! I like her. She was from Spirane, I think but she came looking for wolves to hunt and I volunteered. She was kind and sweet and I bet she's really nice. But other than those two, what girls do I know? Viora but thats laughable. She's my sister and she hates me. Solitaire knows all about that particular girl by now. I'm glad Solitaire wants to share this news with me. It's nice to know he likes to share things with me too. He seems surprised that I call her lucky. I guess he's just being modest since it's a compliment to him. He looks sheepish when I mention that I know enough to know that Ambrosia is the newest leader of Diveen. News seems to spread like wild fire through the packs.

I listen attentively as he explains that he got pulled into a deal. I'm curious to know more about it but I'm distracted by more important news. He's not leaving Glorall! I beam at him, unable to stop it. "That's great! I mean, I'm sure she'll want to see you and the kids of course but I'm glad you're not leaving Glorall. I hate to admit it cause I feel selfish but it's true." I shrug lightly, smiling sheepishly. I smile when he says he thinks we'll get along. "I hope so. If she's good enough for my bro, she's gotta be special." I smirk.
