Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

When the sand in the hourglass runs out...
She knew it would not take him long to find her, after all becoming a phantom in ones pack was hardly expected. To have been absent so long into his rule would seem disrespectful though she had not meant it to be so. Truly she simply wished to see if he would be sticking around long enough to be worth coming to. It wasn't as though she had not witnessed Tesseract's fall, or his decline before that. Her face remains stoic as he lifts his lip to her, an answering sneer coming back to him. Her head merely tilting to the side in a cocky, yet innocent seeming what did you expect? her bright blue eyes lighting up with mischief.

In answer to his demand, a hiss rolls out of her throat. It is not unlike the turtles made, that noise she called a growl. Her ears moved back only slightly to make sharp speared points on her head like a crown, her chin tucked in slightly, chest out, head up - mocking his position as best she can. She then gnashes her teeth together, mimicking a fight, her body sent to mock charge him as she pantomimes her meaning. After this, she comes to roll on her back in the sand, between his front paws. Her own paws sent into motion, coming to fold over her chest and undulate up and down - a begging signal as though she was asking for something.

Not knowing how to make the rank name known that she wished to challenge for, she hissed again and rolled back up to her paws. Intelligent eyes manically search the sand before her as she looks for a way to convey her meaning. Only a few seconds pass, and Apollymi realizes that if she can hiss the air out of her throat, she could most likely try and make the right word with her mouth and hope the expulsion of air would be phonetically correct. Inhaling sharply, deeply, Apollymi moves her lips in silent construction of the word. Upon her exhalation, she mouths the word in an eerie broken whisper, Apollymi hisses out, wildfire. And says no more, her throat now hurt from the effort in making her windpipe stay open long enough for her to expel the single word. It was not something she ever did, because to force that word out, she had to keep her trachea open just so. She had to make this known to him though. All in all: I want to challenge you for a place in your home. Wildfire will be the rank. is what her entire message would say.
