Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

The borders have been pretty empty as of late though I know that's no fault of Summer's. He's been busy running his rounds and doing alpha duties but sometimes even the alpha needs some help. I went with him to Saw Tooth to meet with the new alpha but so far no one but Kahlan has come to our call. I hope she shows up soon but I don't want to rush her and so I focus on my healing when I'm back at home. Since my run in with Danger, I've been extra cautious. I still can't figure that wolf out. It's like he doesn't want to be around other wolves but he went out of his way to help me when I was stung by those poisonous thorns. He brought me water and stayed with me until I had the strength to stand again and that will forever be in my thoughts. When I hear the call of a stranger at the borders, I wag my tail and prick my ears, glad to know Bright Moon has not been fully forgotten.

I do not know many of the other pack members but I hope to meet them all in time. They seem to lie low most of the time which I can understand since I've done it on more than one occasion. The smell of a pup near the borders is concerning to me though, especially when said pup smells of Summer. Did he get a mate and I didn't notice? I would have liked to congratulate him! Or did he go out and adopt someone? I can see him doing that. Summer is really sweet, after all. I would have liked to meet her sooner but now is better than never, I guess. When I first get a glimpse of the pup, i take in her dark coat and bright eyes. She's a cute little thing, that's for sure. Smiling to myself, I wag my tail as I approach, listening to her speak to the other wolf.

I nod my head in greeting to the wolf and even dip my head low to the pup to show her the proper respects as I take a seat and curl my tail around my haunches. "Welcome to Bright Moon. I'm Misty. Feel free to answer her question for I would like to hear the answer as well."
