Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Eden --

Regarding Covet's trial and your note on it;

As it is my brother on trial, it is, to me, a very personal matter. While I do not know if I will be providing information or not, I can of course give you what I know, as it is probably a large portion of, well, all of it.

The angels have wronged our family, Covet in particular. Heyel murdered Covet's grandmother, my father's first mate, and two other angels kept Covet's children away from him; my neices and nephews, and family is important to us.

Now while these things were done years ago, they would have been laid to rest, but when Covet went to check and see if some he cared about were still in Diveen - properly, not crossing into the borders, merely checking for scents to tell him if they were around - Achilles approached him and was rude and, in my opinion, cruel when they were mocking him as he left.

Covet wanted to take a pack to try and impress someone, and all this led him to take Diveen. He did not want Achilles or any sort like him to rule any place. However, upon realizing ruling wasn't his thing, he decided to try for peace, giving one of the angels the throne back and creating an alliance between our families.

I would have been a father in the Spring if Achilles hadn't ripped that away from me. This goes beyond personal simply for my family's sake.
