Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

PARAVANA

His own madness has certainly shown through in these moments. He was a bit odd to begin with, and she could feel the tension that he held before. Yet she had let her curiosity and pride get in the way. She should perhaps know better, but she is a young wolfess. She was grown under the protective wing of her parents, not exposed to the harshness of the world that was to come. She was the daughter of Achilles and Vega, and she held a rather easy and pampered life.

Until this moment, when she is shoved into the den. It is a cave, a prison, and it is dark other than the flash of lighting that sometimes finds its way into the world that would become her chains. Her rainbow eyes watch as he guards the entrance, entering just enough to no longer get wet from the constant rains.

She wondered what it is he wanted. She had no idea what it could be. Her fur was soaked as her dark face smudged in gold attempted to find some answers within his eyes. They were not there though, and it is his voice that brings some sort of light to the situation. Her ears flicker as she feels a shiver down her golden spine. He has what he wants? It is she that he wanted? She felt her nose wrinkling slightly as her ears fold against her head.

She did not know what to do, and did not know how to escape. Physically, she was not capable of taking him in this situation. She would have to...wait until things are in her favor, as assassins do. It was a frustrating thing though as she wraps her tail around herself. He speaks of the Shade again and...training. She does not understand really what he is talking about, but training might give her the opportunity to escape...if needed. She knows the value of knowing more about her potential enemies, and perhaps there is no need to escape quite yet. She is ripped apart by her differing inner monologue. Would she try to be a stealthy assassin, and learn more, or ensure she is safe and escape?

"What is this training that your Shade has in store?" she asks, attempting to sound like she is fine with the situation even though her voice trembles slightly. Yet, that could be attributed to the rain and cool air- at least that is what she would claim as she lowers her frame and body to the ground, rolling herself up in an effort to bring herself warmth. Yes, she needs to rest and get her energy, as she needs to be sweet on her dark toes.
