At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

~I hope you smile when you look down on me~ As the sun lolled overhead, the ashen girl was only just awakening. The heat waves rolled off the silt making her vision slightly off but she was content nonetheless. Finding her yellow lanterns staring into his cool portals she felt a smile ripple across her maw. As she looked into his portals she felt a strange aura surrounding them. He seemed minutely bothered by something, but whatever it was, it dissipated as soon as she spoke aloud. A small chuckled rumbled from the mottled knight’s chest. His fur looked gritty and hard though she would have never known because her own was just the same. Even as she leaned into him she felt nothing but warmth and a certain softness. Sebring watched as the smile grew on his face, and in return she smiled a little longer. "Indeed we should! I feel like I'm a statue come to life - my pelt is hard enough to be chipped stone." She giggled quietly as his remarks, she felt the same about her pelt though hers would not be so magnificent when she washed away the silt. “Did you sleep alright?” His deep lyrics tickled her audits making her tilt her head to look at him. She found herself looking into his cool gaze but she soon found herself in the water and looking back at him as he paused before wadding into the chilly water. “It’s been many moons since I’ve slept so well and so long.” He smiled gently before he wadded past her into the depths, but before making it all the way past her, he paused and brushed against her gently. She blushed lightly feeling a warm tingle zip down her spine. She glanced from the corners of her eyes, his pelt flowing with lake waves, the silt clouding around him like a blanket removed. Sebring swallowed quietly, her fears on the edge again. She felt the undercurrent tugging at her paws; her unsteady paws. She walked forward, towards Kalgalath. The current washed the silt and excess fur away from her body leaving a milky trail behind, like the one surrounding Kalgalath. Her legs couldn’t quite reach to Kalgalaths height and so she stopped a few feet from him. Her pupils dilated as fear and anxiety built up in her. Her brows creased and she back out slowly still letting the shallow water finally remove the last of the ash, silt and excess fur. She stood on the shore watching Kalgalath. His strong frame stood confidently in the water as it pulled and tugged at his pelt. She shook out her bodice ridding herself of excess water. The sun would take care of the little droplets on her pelt though they currently glimmered under the drying rays. Sebring smiled as she watched Kalgalath. She felt the urge to go out to him but she couldn’t surpass her fears and so she stood silently watching and smiling to herself. Her inner puzzle clicked more pieces together as she watched him, her heart finally starting to waken from its dark cavity. A warmth flood her body as she couldn’t help but smile more at the sight of him. She turned her head starting to clean her fur herself, but her mind ran a million miles an hour. She couldn’t focus on anything but Kal and how she felt under his gaze and touch. He was gentle with her, maybe because she was fragile but there were moments when she wondered, was there more to this caressing touch..? She couldn’t figure it out. “Kalgalath,” she paused to catch his gaze or see if he had even heard her. “I was, well… uh. I was wondering if I could, umm, accompany you back your home..?” Sebring’s ear flattened submissively as she waited his response not knowing that his home was actually his pack. That her knight was actually a King. "They’re only baby scars," She whispers. |
