Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Her days have passed in a way that she has never experienced. It all feels like a rush of wind that has left her in its wake. Everyone else has moved back to Diveen and while she cares so deeply for her kin, she has committed herself to Spirane, something that she simply cannot break.

The pains of her past are healing as her life among the mountain wolves continues onward even without her Angelic family. They have done their part in making herself whole once more and she was even blessed upon her return to find her imprint. It was a sure sign that the fates were upon her side once again.

The night is brisk, freezing among the peaks of the mountainous region, and yet temperate enough when within the foothills. The angel-born female moves with a grace granted solely by her bloodline and with a good start to her day she wishes to make another travel into unclaimed lands. Obsidian paws move with ease down the soft decline of the foothills of the mount she calls her home. The river that provides so much life to the beasts of Spirane winds further into more level lands and into the marshes of Iromar. It has been so long since she has touched Moladion soil that she must acquaint herself with every area once more.

Eyes and nose are on alert as she moves alone along the gently moving river. Her lack of hearing being a disadvantage during times like these despite her other keener senses. Over time she has become more in tune with her surroundings once she has known them well enough and that is her mission tonight. If she were to become successful with looking out for herself again then she must know every inch of Moladion intimately. For now she starts with the river and its banks.

It is not only good to explore during the hours of light but also within the night itself. The scenery holds a different tone, almost as if it were a different world entirely, and can be confusing to one if they did not know their way around. With the silver moonlight guiding her path along the sparkling river, she stumbles upon a female up ahead whom appears to be neutral in nature. From a distance anything could appear to be amiable though.

With caution, Sera approaches the stranger, ears perking to attention from instinct alone despite their inability. Deep amethyst and yellow eyes roam over the posture of the female to assess her standing within the world around them and when she is sure that she can handle what danger may present itself, she steps further forward to speak. A low woof is given to announce her approach as not to startle the other into aggression. ”Hello. Is you being part of Spirane or Iromar packs?” her accent is thick and affects her speech heavily, a trait earned mostly from watching how her mother speaks when she was a little girl.
